Paper is fairly good. It is most useful for practice. It claims to be 100% cotton, but leaves something to be desired.

I’m new to watercolor and have been exploring affordable paper to learn on. However, paper plays a large part in how your paint behaves. I’ve really enjoyed working on this paper, which is a must to prevent frustration when you’re learning.

I'm an intermediate+ watercolor painter but I had yet to dive into the realm of 100% cotton paper. I'm a mom and just couldn't justify spending the extra money on my hobby even though I know the importance of quality materials and tools. I was nervous and didnt want to mess up. I absolutely looooved this paper and it was incredibly fun to paint on!! I like the size and functionality of this paper. It was a different experience being able to scrub the paper and it behaved differently than the canson paper I have used for years. I'll use the cheap stuff for doodling around but if I want to actually paint something that I'll want to keep, I'm all about the cotton paper!! I highly recommend this pad for taking your art to the next level!

Pretty and nice travel size art book. I can sketch, watercolor, charcoal and more. Eat too travel with.

This is one of my favorite watercolor pads! It holds water well and takes low grade to high grade watercolor paints with little or no problems. Some of my most favorite paintings are done on this paper and it may warp a bit but after I simply flatten the painting, it becomes suitable for framing especially after I treat the painting with the light wax medium. If you have ANY doubts about purchasing this paper, then allow me to assure you that it's just fine, just fine..

This is really decent watercolor paper. I used a good bit of water and thought it was warping. Not at all. Will continue to purchase . Paint lays down well, evenly without backwash. Happy me.
