Like Kenya AA unroasted coffee beans, this women-produced Burundi raw coffee has silky chocolate base notes and lovely stonefruit top notes of berry and apricot. A gourmet single origin African green coffee with balanced flavors and a zesty finish.
This Burundi unroasted green coffee is produced by the farmers of the Gatukuza Women Group in Kayanza. Members grow the world renowned bourbon varietal in this high altitude, fertile region.

Medium Roast develops creamy chocolate base notes, berry and peach top note and a touch of candied orange which comes through as the coffee cools
Dark and Espresso Roasts develops bold chocolate base notes with rich layers of raisin and buttery toffee to complete juicy stone-fruit flavors.

I used to purchase 3lb of Burundi but this time I purchased 5lb. I roasted by as same profile before but taste so different from the last one. Then I thought because it could be a different year crop so I tried to roast them several ways of profiles. However, unfortunately, it was not my favorite. I will not purchase 5lb again. I still doubt that that bean was not packed right bean.
