It was easy to assemble but the cover is a bit disappointing I expectef a full cover top and bottom. I gave it 3 stars because of the half cover

I needed a box spring but wasn’t keen on the usual metal frame types commonly available. I saw this wooden box frame and even though it only had a few reviews, I decided to take a chance with it. I received it today and just got done assembling it. The instructions are clear and assembly was pretty straightforward. I did use a better quality wrench over the one they provided and a Bosch drill screw the slats. This made the task easier. It took me any my little boy about and hour to assemble and mount the frame. I needed to raise the height of the bed for my father to make it easier for him to get in and out of bed and he is very pleased with the new height. Once assembled, the frame feels sturdy and the cover is of good quality. I would like to caution prospective buyers to be careful of wood shards and wear gloves while assembling the frame. Not a big deal but safer.Overall the extra 8” and a sturdy wooden frame is worth the money.

It has to be put together, but it's a good thing.I didn't like the fact of having to put it together, but glad for it.There are so many things one can do, build or have drawers made, put plywood underneath and the fabric can be changed when it rips or wears out.You can use the wood parts for measurement to make another box spring.It is almost endless what can be done when you know how the process is while putting it together.

Ok, so lmao, back in the day we had to go out and buy mattresses and box springs, I waited to comment to have a chance to test the box spring, this product made me giggle as I was putting it together, a box spring in from a box, this product came really quick, the packaging was sturdy, tight and all the tools I mean everything was in the box just as advertised and it was easy for the screws to fit through every hole easy, I purchased a queen and mine is all good I took the mattress off the other day just to peek at it, and it's still as firm as the day I assembled it, it doesn't make any noises, its still balanced and very sturdy after 8 weeks or this product is a very well put together good buy, smh lol who came up with this one, just all around unique.

Takes 1-2 hours to assemble, do not build it in the bed frame. Have a drill with screwdriver bit handy. No springs or give to this base. Very sturdy with no noise or creaking once installed. We are #150 pounds each or less. Good base if you have a bed w 5" depth or skirting.
