Wow, makes a big difference. Bought a new bedframe recently and the slats are configured slightly differently than the previous bed frame which was causing my mattress to sag. Through this puppy under the mattress and we’re back in business!

I bought a new mattress that ended up being thinner than the old one, the bed seemed about 1 inch too low, making sitting down and standing up difficult. so I bought this board to go on top of the platform we already had --- and it's perfect. I put it under the mattress and it raised it 1.5 inches.

I have been sleeping on a broken, creaky, ancient box spring. I have a memory foam mattress and this has truly changed my sleeping patterns and life. Put this on a slatted bed if you have a memory foam mattress you will not regret the purchase and YES it is worth it. I no longer feel the slats, it makes getting into bed feel solid and sturdy. The memory foam can then form around my body perfectly unlike when the slats or box spring we’re there. It has made my back feel tremendously better! I twist and turn in my sleep and I thought that was just me... nope I bought this and I sleep like a log.

The two halves seem very sturdy and are the perfect height for my platform. I knew before buying this that it is 2" too narrow for my platform so I simply went out and bought a wood beam to place between the two halves to keep them from shifting to the middle and exposing the ugly slats from the sides of the bed. I anticipated a darker gray tone so I painted one end of the wood beam at the foot of the bed a dark gray but this is actually a rather light gray instead. No biggie, but a bit of a surprise, so I will just use some other paint I have to blend things more.

I remove 1 star because it’s smaller than full size. Each piece is 26 inches wide, total is 52 inches, so… 2 inches short. Or maybe they designed it that way? I don’t know, but with 2 inches gap when I lift mattress up to change sheet the boards move, and I have to arrange them again. I’m thinking of using some piece of wood to fill the gap, keep the boards staying still.
