I've used this style of greenhouse clip quite a bit prior to these. The other clips I've used have been a little easier to put onto the size of pipe they're indicated for, and I feel like they wrap a bit farther around it. These clips *do* fit on a 1" PVC pipe, but you aren't going to think they do. It'll take more pushing than you would expect, as the opening is very snugly sized and the plastic is quite firm.You may feel like it's a toss-up whether they explode into multiple pieces or do stretch enough to slide on (I did.) But they *will* go, and they'll be very snug once you get them on. Pictures attached show the fit on a scrap piece of pipe, without the roll-up plastic added, to show you just how snug these are.Be warned - these truly are sized for 1" PVC pipe and there isn't a ton of extra wiggle room in there, so you want to measure carefully to make sure these will work for your application if that's not what you're using them for.Based on how these types of clips have worked in the past, these look and feel like they'll last longer than the plastic they're holding in place. I'm subtracting one star just because I don't enjoy the feeling of "will it break or go onto the pipe?"
