Love this coat! Very soft and easy to put on over the head. One simple Velcro tab over the skinny waist. It’s not as heavy as I had hoped, but I find it pairs well over a sweater on the coldest days. I also like how we can use a front clip harness (like Easy Walk) since there is no Velcro in the front to pull apart. Sizing seems pretty accurate according to the chart. My 43# Pit mix is usually a large, but took a medium in this product. She loves having the collar up near her ears too! Just wanted to mention it pairs beautifully with the Blueberry Martingale reflective collar (seen in pic).

I love it, kept my Italian greyhound warm and got compliments on our walk. It’s a little big but he will eventually grow into it. Great for winter!

I've gone through so many coats trying to find one that fits my dog and with this one I've finally found it! She's a mixed breed with a very unique shape -- only 50-ish lbs but super tall and lanky. This coat is the perfect length and is a little roomy overall but the waist cinch is perfect (I was worried after reading some of the other reviews). She's got a deep chest but her waist is tucked way up high and the cinch lines up perfectly with her waist. She's a little skeptical about the snood-like neck but that fits her well too and is nice and warm. And the material is nice and soft and thicker than I expected for the price. Very pleased with this purchase!

These are great quality for the price... I bought a Medium and an Extra Small for both of my Whippets and here are their sizes.Bought Medium in Black: Full grown Male Whippet - 36lbs; neck = 12in circumference; chest = 25in; back length = 23inBought X-Small in Red: 5 month Female Whippet - 20lbs; neck = 10in; chest = 22in; back length = 19inWell constructed; soft and warm material - feels exactly like a thin to medium thickness fleece; love the reflective piping they used for the borders. It’s classy reflective; not in your face reflective...great LONG Neck coverage.dogs seem to like the fact that there are no leg holes necessary to squeeze through and no movement restrictions or rubbing/chafing on their legs while in use..it is also super quick to slip on and off as a result...like in seconds.Hopefully the measurements and the pics are helpful for perspective and comparison purposes. Not the perfect fit, but pretty great for the price and for working with standard size options unlike the custom (& a lot more expensive) options typically required for most Whippet and sight hound clothing...at least here in the US.

Exactly as described.I bought x-small for my whippet puppy. Fits perfectly now (Pup is 4 months old).Such good value for the price. I have bought the next size up for when she's fully grown.Just be aware that it doesn't have a waterproof layer.

Good for girl dogs, boys would find it uncomfortable as it Velcros up near where there penis would be. Get a size or two above what you expect. The strap can be a bit short. Otherwise this is good. Looks fun and warm

I read the reviews before I ordered this. Was concerned about the Velcro strap being long enough.I have a big male greyhound, adopted him this spring and never thought the large winter coat I already had would be too small. With freezing cold weather here, I needed a heavy coat fast. All the custom made coats would take too long and all the ready made were too small. This was my only option XXXL for big enough and fast enough delivery.Came in a few days and fortunately it fits him. It’s snug but not tight. The Velcro strap is short and makes no sense it would be made that way. It is long enough to keep it fastened, about two inches overlap. Any shorter it wouldn’t have worked. Also, for a boy, the strap barely sits in front of his boy parts so he would pee on it if it wasn’t really snug. I like the reflective border, it’s soft and fairly thick—enough to keep cold and wind out. Collar is long enough to come up to his ears for warmth. Here is what I have the biggest problem with: the opening to attach a leash. The opening is at the bottom of the neck collar, too low to attach to a martingale. It is too high up to attach to the top of a harness. I think I can make the leash work with the harness but definitely not with the collar. It appears the designer of this coat had not done it with a greyhound in mind or where a leash would need to fit through to a collar. Two openings would make sense: one up higher for a collar, one down lower on the shoulders for a harness. It may not work with the harness and I’ll return it. It’s a shame vendor didn’t make this greyhound coat to work on a greyhound. It’s a nice coat.

I love this coat, and so does my dog. First things first, my dog is not a greyhound but she is a hound mix that is longer and skinnier than you would think for her size. Other coats are too short and don’t cover her. Since this is designed for a different body type it isn’t what I would consider a “perfect fit” but it is far better than anything else I’ve tried. Drawbacks are the belly strap is a tad tight (again greyhounds are a skinnier breed, which is why I bought a size up) which leaves the Velcro exposed. I hate velcro, but I couldn’t find a coat that had the necessary length and a buckle.I live that this coat simply goes over her head and straps around her belly. No worrying about legs and for early morning walks this will be sublime. The neck can be “unfolded” and it almost covers her ears which keeps her nice and toasty in the Kansas wind and rain. But most of the time I keep it folded down. When I said my dog loves this coat, I wasn’t kidding. She has barely taken it off since it arrived a yesterday. It seems to comfort her because she likes to be covered up with blankets. She doesn’t “dig” or fidget as much trying to get comfortable to lay down. Leaving it on her all the time also has the bonus of ensuring she’s warm if she wants to use the doggy door so I worry less about potty mistakes in the house because she’s avoiding the weather (freezing rain for a few days).I worried that leaving it on her would burn her up but under the jacket her body feels like normal body temperature. That made me worry that maybe it couldn’t keep her warm outside but so far no issues. It’s only be 30-40F here and she’s only been out in the yard a bit at a time, hopefully when the rain stops we can get out and test it on an extended walk :)
