The Grizzly H7527 is very good for the price and function. My consern is not having a blue print of the parts so I can figure how they work together. The picture does not show enough information. I do not want to disassemble the unit to find out how it works. So I will email Grizzly for info.

I have only had time to make a few test cuts and everything works as expectted and within the tolerances specified/needed. Finish could be a little better but for this price I am not complaining. By all outword appearances this 6" unit should give have a long service life. I am glad I made the purchase for the 6" instead of the 4". I would recomend it to a friend and I would purchase again. I will update this if my opinions change with time.

Works very well and is plenty accurate for what I'm doing. The cast base is difficult to bolt down on one side due to there not being enough space for a washer - I had to make a little modification to make that work. I wish I could have afforded a larger model, but I've been able to make this work. Reasonable product at a reasonable price.

The Grizzly H7527 6-Inch Rotary Table although it appears to be well made and operaes smoothly, is not a true 6 inch table. The rotating table measures 150 mm (5.905) inches. Some may think that this is nit-picking but it caused me some difficulty when I bought a 6 inch adapter plate to mount a 5 inch 3-jaw chuck on the table. Although not a fault of the rotary table, I had to machine the adapter plate to make it fit.Manufacturers are in the habit of "rounding off" sizes of their products.Overall the table and accessories appear to be well made with a reasonable finish. With the index plates, tailstock and other pieces I think it is a fairly good buy.

What a deal this was. I believe I paid $300 at the time and was hugely impressed with the quality. Since then I have added a 5" chuck to the table and have used the rotary table both horizontally and used it vertically with the tail stock; all with good results. I milled flat the 4 bolt-down surfaces, but then that is a standard tune-up procedure. Otherwise it measures true, square, precise and ready to go.

I saw a review of e 4" version, based on it, I thought twice about purchasing this version. I did anyway, and I am very glad for it. I needed the ability to divide some parts I was making, the holes needed to be precisely placed, no matter what I did, it was not looking too good done manually. Eventually I purchased this for use with a drill press. If you have a lathe, this may not be the tool for you, I did not. I do not see myself regretting the purchase, the parts I needed to make were very easy to make with this equipment.Setup consisted of taking the taking the rotary table apart and cleaning off the shipping grease than making some minor adjustments. As a hobbyist I find the precision very adequate, if you are looking for repeatable results to the thousandths, this may not be the tool for you. For me, this was perfect.I have some older woodworking machines distributed by Grizzly,I never had any problems with them, so that made my decision to purchase from Grizzly again easy. I am sure this rotary tables is the same tool that other distributors have, but I have experience with Grizzly.So far I am a happy customer.
