Table itself was cheaply made, after several emails and calls I was finally able to have it replaced. I’m a loyal Grizzy fan but sadly they do little to assist you if you order from them via amazon. I had to fight tooth and nail to get them replace a particular piece. Just a heads up.

The table itself is great!, sturdy and flat. The plastic mounting plate, not so good. It warped and was not straight when the router was mounted. It would also flex down with any kind of pressure. I wound up gluing aluminum u channel to the bottom of the plate and making corner supports that clamp it from underneath. I also drilled flat bottom holes and used non tapered head screws to mount the router. This way they pull straight down and do not pull the plate into a warp. This solved the flatness problem. Also make sure to put some loctite or something on the level adjusting screws as they are very loose and will vibrate out of adjustment.

I have built router tables before. For me the materials alone was worth the price of the table. It has enough adjustments for me to do what I want it to do. Is it comparable with a high end table; absolutely not. However, when I compared this table to the bench top tables, I got a better bang for the buck. Also, if you are looking for a bench top model, consider that you may be working too high. This product puts the work surface at a very comfortable hieght.

Sent the first one back as it was damaged. Second one was worse with the box a mess on delivery. Table top of second one was also damaged but I just lived with it. Main issue which makes the table useless is that the router insert bows with the weight of the router. This makes it useless for precision work. Out of the period where I can send it back so it sits in my workshop collecting dust.

Out of the box, nothing is square, the table is warped, Guess I should expect that since its from China, The router "phenolic" insert plate sags and is warped with out a router attached, can't imagine when I mount a heavy Triton TRA001 router to it. I Cannot and I mean cannot get the insert plate flush to the table. The wood hits on both sides upon entering the bit and exiting. If I make an adjustment to one side to get it flush then the other side is out of whack, If I get all 4 corners flush then the middle is sagging and caused wood to hit when entering and exiting the router bit (very dangerous not to mention the poor quality of cut you will experience). Impossible to get the fence 90 degrees to the table no matter what I do (I tried using feeler gauge as shims to get the accuracy and no luck) I'm sure this is because the table itself is not flat and true. An accurate fence is essential in any routing operation, as well as a true and flat work surface. This actually creates a dangerous condition as the wood can be grabbed from you and kick back can occur. Shame on Grizzly mfg. I realize you are making your profit margins go up by manufacturing over seas but come on at least get some quality control at you China plants, after all your name is at stake! The opposing split fence is off by about .010 of an inch so when taking a work piece from one fence to the other it hits on the side (again very dangerous). Tried shimming with feeler gauge shims, no work, but I shouldn't have to mess with it any way. Very disappointed Grizzly is putting their name on this table. Shame on me for trusting Grizzly. Now I have a $150 dollar "work" table that is not flat and a worthless router table that is not flat. The table was manufactured on 2/1/2011. guess they are not flying off the shelves and they are not selling many of these, its no wonder. They sucker you into this "unbelievable" "never seen before" "Presidents sale" and a few people take the bate but get a rude awakening when the product arrives. This table was manufactured over 2 to 3 years ago and have been laying around in some ware house warping over seas. I think you get my point here, Don't buy this piece of s***. Learn from my lesson, try to stay away from Grizzly products as most of them are manufactured over seas (China and Taiwan) and obviously have little to no quality control. I would give this a 0 Star but this is not available to do.
