This seems like a nicely made spout and the look is nice. We have a major problem where it doesn't seem to flow fast enough and it backs up to the shower head even with the diverter fully disengaged. The shower always drips when the spout is running. We will be replacing it with something else.

the grohe tub spouts are very high quality and this one was a great price thru the amazon web site...NOTE the style differences for a 'slip on' or 'threaded' spout for your application

Nice piece of polished chrome but there is only 1/16" play for a flush installation to a finished wall. So unless you know the EXACT thickness of your finished wall and are able to shim the drop before the wall is finished its a very tough install. Stock 1/2" diameter NPT nipples only come in 1/2" length increments.1/16" barely covers any variation in thickness of the thinset. I'm not sure why it's designed this way
