2 month update: It's staying 5 stars. They're performing great and have had zero issues with any of them. On a couple camping trips and once at home I accidentally left the outside light on all night. Didn't seem to affect the light output or anything and with the low power draw didn't use much of the battery. I guess my only real complaint about these is that you buy them in packs of 10 and I need 3 more to complete the LED conversion :-Wow nice lights. Seen another reviewer that had bought several other cheaper LED bulbs and for one reason or another they were a disappointment. He recommended these and Im glad I listened. Very bright natural light, not yellow and and not overly white. I measured the power draw at just .2 amps so when I was running 6 lights I was only pulling 1.2 amps. No more worrying about draining the battery in a few hours. Just wish I could buy just 3 more individual bulbs so I can have every light converted.

These bulbs made me have to spend a full day scrubbing the interior of my RV that evidently wasn't nearly as clean as I thought it was. These are the best upgrade since air conditioning!! They're at least 3 times brighter than even a new stock bulbs and without the heat that had actually melted various plastic parts in several of my fixtures. I replaced every single interior bulb in my RV. In a few fixtures I mixed one of these and one of the smaller versions just like this one because two of these going at the same time is actually TOO bright. I got about 24 LED's in total and not a single dud. I used to worry about leaving lights on. Any more than 8-10 bulbs going and the converter would kick in.. Now I'm totally careless about it and I haven't heard my converter run once since I've had them. Some have complained that they're hard to install. I had that problem until I realized all you have to do is insert a small (about 3/16" or less) flat bladed screwdriver in between the clips that hold the base of the bulb and give it a quarter turn to loosen them up.. They were set up for the thin base of the stock bulb, but they're not so springy that they spring back all the way. The LEDs will snap right in.At about $4.50 each for these and

I put these into our travel trailer as an upgrade to the old incandescent bulbs. The white level is slightly cooler than incandescent however still nice and pleasing, not a harsh white at all. They are also quite a bit brighter. Power draw is obviously a fraction of what it was.In areas where a little less light was desired such as the reading lights I used the 24-3528 LED bulbs from the same vendor with good success.I did not have any issues with breakage however they do seem rather delicate where the base meets the board, install with care.

These LED bulbs arrived quite quickly and were very well packaged. Some reviews have noted that they are difficult to install do to a tight fit. I did not find this at all,but the base is awkward to hold during installation so I held them with pliers and they went in with very little effort. These bulbs give off a very pleasant light and very little heat compared the replacement incandescents. Have not field tested them yet, but will do that over the next 2 weeks. So far, I beleive they are worth the investment.

We have tried other LED bulbs before in our RV and no thanks. These are the first bulbs we've seen that increase the light output measurably. The color temperature is quite pleasing. Not as warm as the incandescent bulbs these replaced, but pleasingly warm. The goal was to get our RV brighter and these did it and use way less power doing so. They aren't cheap, but these are the safer bulbs that can handle voltages that would be expected in a normal RV. They are a bit difficult to put in, but no where as difficult as removing the fixture covers without breaking the tabs off of them. It is going to cost about $150 to replace every bulb in our RV. I haven't checked to see what is available for the exterior lights, so I could be on the low side. It is well worth the money and then some. I highly recommend these for anyone with an RV. In the attached photo, the left side is the LEDs.

Previously bought a 10 pack of the 24-3528 LED's to use in my travel trailer but fell short as I needed 12. Decided to get this 2 pack to finish the job. I wanted to have brighter lights for the 2 bulb fixture in the bathroom so I went with these 24-5050 because based on the specs between a 3524 SMD LED Module and a 5050 SMD LED Module, the 5050 should be quite a bit brighter. The spec chart on Wikipedia says the 3528 has a lumen of 5.4 so a 24 led bulb using 3528 modules should have a total lumen of 24 x 5.4 = 129.6 lumens. 5050 has a lumen between 16 and 18. Using the lower end, a 24 led bulb using 5050 modules should have a total lumen of 24 x 16 = 384 lumens. With almost 3x higher lumens, I was expecting the 24-5050 LED Bulb to be quite a bit brighter than the 24-3528 LED Bulb. They are brighter but not that much brighter. They work well in the bathroom and provide good amount of light but I was hoping for more. Definitely glad I got the bulbs with the wide voltage range instead of the fixed 12V as I've heard from others that fixed 12V models heat up quite a bit due to fluctuations in the RV electrical system not being at exactly 12 volts. No heat issues with these ones.

All as proclaimed, bright, and quick shipping. Also bought the following with the 3528 SMD below:https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EDFM5QU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5These are much brighter and work excellent in my RV (2006 Jayco) dome lights and outside "porch" lightI used the 3528 SMD ones in the under cabinet and bed lights. I used one of each in the bathroom as it did not require the brightness of two of the 505 SMD lights. The two versions match well in colour temperature and are both warm white.Note as mentioned in some reviews I bought the AC/DC compatible "bulbs" and these do not flicker when on shore power.I recommend searching SMD in Wikipedia to get the approx output of the various SMDs to compare each other and with the stock bulb.Apr2016: these are still going strong and bright.

I just installed all 10 of these in my RV trailer and first impression is they do the job very well. The Bright Cool white brings out the more natural light I wanted. I could tell the light was not as many lumens, but that's expected and I don't think I will miss them.Power usage is why I bought! I could tell the power difference immediately when I had all 10 LED's on and the fan on my AC to DC converter unit didn't come on to cool itself (Normally 3-4 incandescent bulbs would cause the fan to start). 3 Watts vs 17.92 Watts, so just about 1/6 the power usage or 6 times longer usage of my battery.Installation was a little tight when seating and you do have to use some force, but within reason. I did not feel like I was going to break the LED circuit board. When installing, if you DON'T hold on to the circuit board the SMD's are mounted to, but grip the plastic mount the circuit board is glued to, you can easily apply enough force to seat the LED bulb.Like:∙Power Savings!!!!!∙Light temperature and output. The 5050 SMD's really make the difference in brightness.∙Diameter of the board holding the SMD's is 1.73 inches and that is perfect fit for a traditional RV light housing.∙Replaces a 921 glass bulb from local auto parts store∙Quality is just fine, SMD's are securely attached the circuit board and the board is securely glued into a cheapish plastic holder. (It will hide under a lens anyway so I will never see it)∙Variable power is nice for when I'm on battery power or shore power and it changes.Dislike:∙It would have been nice to have it mount as easy as a 921 glass bulb.
