We love Molkky in our house and were in need of a new set since we play so often. I’m very happy with the quality of the wood and the travel case will make it super transportable for bringing to the beach.

This is a fun lawn or beach game, but the instructions could be better. To be clear, I am reviewing the numbered skittles set and not the kubb set.The game itself is good fun, requiring a player to achieve a specified score by knocking down the numbered pieces. It's like lawn skittles. It is good to play on the lawn, at the beach, or in a park. It’s packaged well in a zippered nylon bag that’s easy to carry. The pieces are I think rubber wood, which probably come from over-mature rubber plantations that are being cut down because they are no longer economically producing. In other words, this is a good use for this material.The biggest problem with the set is that it is somewhat confusing to set up because the directions are not clear. They specify that the numbered pieces be set up in a specific pattern. However, the picture of the set-up game at the top of the instructions shows an entirely different pattern of numbers than is given in the instructions. Those who took the picture did not read the rules, and I’m guessing never played the game. It's a pity -- it's a fun game Regardless, consistency would make it easier to set up the game and it would be nice to have a picture to follow when setting up the pieces.In a somewhat-similar vein, it would be nice if the inside lid on the carrying bag had either a diagram of the initial set-up with circles containing numbers, or a mesh pocket that could hold the game’s instructions. The instructions themselves should come as a plastic-coated sheet, which would make them more durable (an important factor in an outdoor game). And it would be nice if the manufacturer also provided a template for the set-up that could be copied onto a thin sheet of plywood. A plywood template would make the initial set-up easier (providing a flat place on uneven ground) and keep the spacing between the pieces consistent between rounds.Despite my criticisms, I do think that this is a good game. It is well made and fun to play. I would recommend it.

I believe the parts of wood won't last very long because after playing about 5 times, several chips appeared on the numbered wooden parts
