The wooden shot glass earned the bonus star for me. This is a fun game, and this particular one has good build quality. The size is spot on, and it was easy to assemble. Keep in mind if you take it apart to store it, it will loosen up over time and will get wobbly. I'd add some wood glue to all the parts and keep it sturdy. My review process: 5*- Blew me away, features that are much better than anticipated (rare). 4*- Product is as expected, and good quality. This is a STRONG review. 3* - Product should function, but has minor flaws. (Average product) 2*- Product may work, but won't last long/cheaply made/major flaws/issues, item failure w/ some remediation from seller. 1* - Poor item/failure during use, or before, no remediation from seller.

This Ring Toss game is a great table game and something fun to do at a party with friends. Its definitely not as easy as it seems but the difficulty can be adjusted as you can change the length of the rings. It comes with quick slideable clasps so you can adjust the length as you see fit.In the box, it has everything you need to assemble the game and it comes with tools so its easy on your hands.Actually successfully getting the ring on the hook is actually not that easy and I think lots of practice would be required.Great talking point and it has a little score or point keeper.

My husband had actually made me one of these prior to them becoming a popular item. I got this to compare the 2 against eachother. (& just to show you, I added a 2nd pic- my husbands is the darker of the 2) They're EXTREMLY similar. Like its crazy! This one comes with the shot glass piece of wood which is a awesome touch. This ones also portable where as my husband has ours completely fixed & unable to tare down. This one is great quality wood, and super simple to set up. Its a super fun game so it's worth it's asking price 100%. I'd definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun game to play with their partner or as a fun game to bring out at a get together. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5, is that I don't like the ability of the string to be moved up & down. I want the strings the same length because if you play often- you know that the shorter the string the harder it is & the longer - the easier. If you do tare this down and reassemble it- you'll be playing "does that look even" every time.

You can make this into and adult drinking game! Swap out the wooden round peg to a shot glass. When you are able to hook the ring ( not easy to due ) , you move the shot glass or peg towards your opponent. You try again. You hook the ring, you move the shot glass again or peg. When it reaches to the end of the board, or ladder, your opponent takes the shot. It can be slow or fast. The main reason I got this is to play with my adult friends at adult parties. I like the material. Its solid wood. It is easy to assemble and easy to pack away back in the box for easy storage. The string is not hard to adjust with the buckle. Just thread it through the hole, add the buckle, hook the ring and straighten the string so its not to loose nor to tight. It is loads of fun!

My family really likes this game. I will say that it was a little bit difficult to get just right in the adjustment of the length of the string and hook direction. It looks easy but getting everything just right and not slightly tiled or one side slightly longer than the other was challenging. Once we got it, though, we have had a really good time with it

I loved this game as a kid and now I get to enjoy it at home while competing with someone instead of playing by myself. It's a great way to ease stress.

This ring toss game is a lot of fun to play, but unfortunately, the build quality just doesn’t hold up. It feels more like a DIY school project than a polished final product, and while it technically works, there are some frustrating design flaws that hold it back.Assembly & Construction:Assembly isn't hard, but it's not user-friendly either. The predrilled holes are off-center, causing screws to go in crooked—and since the wood is very soft pine, this weakens the structure quickly.Repetitive screwing and unscrewing to store the game causes the screws to loosen more over time. It really needed a tool-free disassembly design.Once assembled, it looks okay from a distance, but up close the finish is uneven, the wood stains poorly, and moisture soaks right in—not ideal for game nights with drinks or outdoor play.Gameplay Experience:It’s genuinely fun to play once set up, and it comes with a scorekeeper—though even that feels like an afterthought. The score peg is smaller than the holes, making it loose and poorly fitted. The hooks are wobbly and need frequent adjustment to keep the game playable. That alone kills the momentum between rounds. The string setup is overly long, and adjusting the length with the cord lock is the hardest part of the entire assembly.Storage:It includes a storage bag, but to actually use it, you’d need to fully disassemble the game with a screwdriver, which is a hassle—and not something you’ll want to do often.Final Thoughts: For around $20, I expected a bit more. Yes, it works, yes, it’s fun—but the poor craftsmanship and frustrating design choices make it hard to recommend over other similar products. If they fixed the hook stability, string setup, and scorekeeping design, this could easily be a 5-star game. Until then, it’s just okay. Great idea, but execution needs work.
