This purchase wasn't without hassle as the first one arrived and promptly died. Returning it via Evry was a complete pain, firstly I hadn't used my printer for ages and it wouldn't print the bar codes. I rang up Amazon for help to see if I could return it without the codes, yes she said just write the address on and all will be ok! So I did and headed off to shop number one... not taking any Evry parcels that day! Next day shop number two, we got there to find the shop surrounded by police cars, back home again! Shop number three, we managed to park right outside and it was open... huge parcel shoved in their direction until they told me that it really did need those printed bar codes, I was going to have to find someone to print them for me, so back home we go still with the damn trimmer in the car. Finally I did what I should have done to start with and reinstalled my almost new ecotank printer. Labels finally printed off we returned to shop number two and waved goodbye to the dead trimmer.I'd already received my replacement trimmer and it worked beautifully, hedge cutting has never been so easy and I would recommend this machine as it is much lighter than others in its price range.A word on returns, you only have a limited time to return the faulty goods or you end up paying for both of them, which is why we were in such a hurry to send the broken one back.

I bought this after my Hyundai lawnmower's batteries failed.A word to the wise, never, ever buy a cordless Hyundai lawnmower. You get zero support and they abandon their products, making them obsolete after only a few years!Anyway, back to the G-tech...The great thing about G-tech is that they care.They don't let their products become obsolete by no longer stocking batteries for example - unlike Hyundai!This lawnmower is fabulous!The battery life is phenomenal compared to the likes of Hyundai.I have a medium sized area of lawn which takes me around 35 minutes to mow.This went through medium to long grass with ease and was still showing 2 of the 4 lights on the battery. My Hyundai from new would need a battery change at this point!I wish I'd just gone straight to G-tech in the first place, but it's quite a price to pay full price.Luckily they do deals occasionally, plus Amazon had a great price at the time I was looking to purchase.This is a lightweight lawnmower which is easily manoeuvrable.Why do some mark this down because it doesn't self propel? Seriously? Self propel is for petrol mowers weighing 8 times the weight of this! Not a light cordless!It's also easy to store with its foldability.I recommend this whole heartedly!A fabulous lawnmower with future proofing built in due to G-tech's excellent product support.

The mower itself is great. I love how you can adjust the height in what you want to cut. However, the battery does not last 40 minutes maybe 10 minutes if I’m lucky so I have to constantly charge it. I cannot find a replacement battery anywhere.

Light enough for me to useIm almost 80. I was worried it wouldnt cut branches but it did. Im not sure if it extends.far enough. I may not know how to get it to the longest rich but very happy

This tool works really great on my tall shrubs, especially with the ability to change the angle very easily and safely. Battery stayed charged long enough to get the job done with charge to spare. The only negative is having to stand far back when trimming smaller bushes

My only gripe with the product is that the battery that came with it was faulty. I am going to contact the company to get it replaced but other wise really good mower tbh

The finished cut and how easy it is to cut the grass much better than my petrol mower plus you can go at your own pace without being dragged around the garden running 🏃♀️ in mid air. The cost is a bit higher than I thought it would be noise is a lot quieter than my petrol one and charging is very quick, and the cut was much better perfect all round

I was amazed when I saw this for a bargain price on Amazon. It stated that the product was new with damaged packaging and offered a massive discount. Buyer beware! When opening the box it had apparently been reseated which would lead me to believe it had been sold previously and returned. So worked OK for about a month then seemed to loose all power even in the lower setting. Battery light indicates that it is fully charged. Cannot return to Amazon as the return window has closed so I am now in contact with Gtech directly to try to get the issues sorted. They have not responded yet however it it is early days.

As a retired engineer that used to design machinery I can see that the GTech cordless hedge trimmer has been properly thought through. Almost every review of cordless hedge trimmers in general remark about how heavy they are but when you have motors and metal on the end of long sticks it's hardly surprising. The GTech is perhaps a little lighter than most but it is the balance of cutters and battery that makes it easy to manoeuvre. It is a superbly designed piece of kit and follows the old saying that 'if it looks right, it probably is right'. The battery charge time is longer than most too but this shows that care of the battery has been considered, a slower charge is kinder and extends battery life. Blades are sharp with good cut apertures and slice with ease, though I can't say what the thickest branch may be I suspect for most hedge work they will be adequate. I have a tree and shrubs which are dealt with fine. There is only one small (and I do mean small) flaw in the entire kit and that is the shoulder harness carabiner clip. It is perfectly well up to the job but is probably designed and made for GTech by another company, I have seen better ones holding gardening gloves together. All in all a great piece of kit.
