I purchased this to carry with me to scare of loose dogs while out walking my own, and I suspect it will still serve it's purpose for that. It makes an intimidating sound and the shock would PROBABLY be startling enough to make an attacking dog let go... although i'm honestly not sure if it would.Naturally the first thing I did after charging it up, was test it on myself to see how strong it is. Thoroughly unimpressed. If you were looking for a self defense item to incapacitate or dissuade a human attacker, this is NOT it. Being snapped with a rubber band hurts more.The flashlight is.. fine?

I love that you can see the battery indicator so you never had to worry that it won’t work in a crisis.Very easy to charge with the wire they provide. It’s the same as charging a rechargeable power bank.I feel safe when I have this one me and hope to never use it. It’s loud and the sound itself should deter bad people.

I keep it in my car door for if someone approaches my window or reaches in. It's small but accidently zap yourself once! Yeah, it's got enough zapping power! LOL!!

I love this little thing. The zap seems like it’d at the least, deter a dog or human. The flashlight is decent too. Also would fit in a pocket. Holds a single charge for months with no use. However, the loop broke that had it attached to my belt (with a carabiner I provided). So now, it sits in a drawer until repair. That part is cheap and weak. Otherwise a good working product.

I got this stun gun for my safety but unfortunately I stopped working. Tried to charge it but the flashlight is the only thing that works. Not sure if I did something or it was a defective product.
