I use this on pillow cover on our small travel pillows it fits great and It's protected our pillow from spills and dirt. I like that it's white however we always have a pillowcase over it. Even though it's waterproof it still is soft. It is easy to wash, I personally wash it on gentle cycle and hang dry it. It has held up well.

These are great pillow covers. I ordered another set right away. They wash well and hold their shape. The zippers function perfectly and are high quality. These aren't noisy like some others. I've tried other brands and these are the best so far.

I like the fact that they are 100% cotton on the outside, waterproof lining on the inside, and quiet. No noise when I move my head on the pillow!

At the very top, the description clearly says this is 100% cotton- which is normally very comfortable but which is not waterproof or bug-proof, so clearly the product description is a problem here. If you read the description further down, it goes on to say: "WRINKLE-FREE: Guardmax pillow covers are made from a synthetic polyester fabric that is wrinkle-resistant"- what??? A little forethought & common sense would suggest this cannot be 100% cotton, so it didn't really surprise me that in actuality it is cotton (& -or-polyester) terry bonded to a polyurethane backing. The description also claims this has a patented zipper design so that "no evil will escape once you put this cover on & zip it up", which is the part that puzzled me the most; I mean, if your pillow is so nasty that it qualifies as "evil", it's truly time to buy a new pillow, instead of waiting for some poor pillow protector to actually save you. The zipper just appears to me to be a normal, well-made nylon zipper. I thought the idea of this protector is to keep bedbugs OUT of your pillow, which it seems it will likely do, though I don't have bedbugs, & never have, & I'm not willing to find some just to prove out this claim. All I can say is that this body pillow cover zips up tightly, wicks & repels moisture (sweat & other stuff) & seems to adequately protect the pillow inside by absorbing moisture into the terry outer layer, thus preventing it from soaking into the pillow inside. This cover will soften some with repeated washings, but right out of the package, it's fairly abrasive- but remember you're not sleeping directly on it- it's there to wick moisture away from the pillow cases you're using over this. I will add that there is some minor rustling sound, but nothing that would keep me awake, so on the whole, this seems to do the job. I would, however, hope the description will be revised to better explain the product, as buyers have a right to know what they're buying.

I received the queen size white Gaurdmax terrycloth pillow protectors. I washed in gentle detergent, non bleach, warm water. The dryer, I put on low heat with other pillow cases. Once removed from the dryer, there was still some dampness on the inside due to the inside liner which almost feels like a vinyl. I simply wiped it away, but laid them out so they can air dry finish. For a queen size, I think they fit with a little extra space. The zipper is strong and durable, glides smoothly, no hangups. The outside is terry cloth which does feel soft. These are so "air tight" after inserting the pillow, zipping up the liner, they held quite a bit of air like a balloon. I laughed because I've never had a pillow pop. I unzipped the zipper to let out the air and realized with this air tightness, nothing is getting in also. Of course, this flattened out the liner and I then put on the pillow case. These do not make the crinkly noise as with other liners, they don't feel stiff or uncomfortable. They are roomy, soft, and definitely air tight, protecting your pillow from dust and moistures

After staying at a lot of Airbnbs that use pillow protectors, I thought it would be nice to get some for home so that our pillows could stay clean. I'm on the fence about the texture, since the terry does feel more like a thin towel texture. It does make some sound, which initially bothered my husband, but it's not so loud that it's super noticeable. I was afraid that the waterproof layer would make the pillow feel less breathable and also warm, but that hasn't been the case so far. I think we'd have to see how warm/cool they feel in summer-- we have eucalyptus bedding so it'll be interesting to see if they no longer feel cool with the protective case on now. I like that the set includes 4, so if you only have 2 pillows, you still have another set to rotate if for some reason you need to wash them. We have 4 king pillows so they're all in use. One set of pillows is foam, with the tendency for our pillow cases to slip off. This is no longer an issue as the protective case keeps the outer case on and it no longer shifts around.

We use waterproof pillow protectors on all our pillows - both at home and at our lake cabin. This set is way less expensive than our normal brands, so I thought I would give them a try.The pillow protectors are made well. The stitching is perfect and the zippers work great. The pillow protectors also fit our pillows very well - the queen size is perfect. The fabric has a terry cloth finish and is comfortable. I'm not sure how well this fabric will hold up over time. I'm concerned it will start to pill and become less comfortable.I tested the pillow protectors with water, and they did keep the pillows dry.We use cotton or linen pillowcases over our pillow protectors. As far as staying cool when sleeping on the pillow protectors, those who have slept with these haven't noticed them being "hot" to sleep on, so that's good. They also don't seem to make any rustling noise, which is also good. These pillow protectors are a good quality and I'm happy with how well they work - especially at this price. We will use these at the cabin - but I prefer using the better brands we have for home (daily) use.
