How to use these Cleaning Patches:
1. Take a cleaning patch and dip it in cleaning solvent
2. Feed it all the way through the barrel of the gun until it emerges clean.
3. Run a dry patch down the barrel to remove any remaining residue.
4. Work from the rear and go in one direction only.
5. If your barrel is especially dirty you may need to do this a few more times.
6. Use the same method to also clean the cylinders.

They leave a little fur in the bore unless you saturate them but no big deal. you will need to cut the patch about 3/4 for a 5.56.

These work great since you can cut them to whatever size best suits the task for which you are using them. Lint free and highly absorb it. The box that comes with it is by no means a dispenser and I found it best to pre cut them and just store in a zip lock for future use.

The material is so thick that I am unable to get the patch through the barrel with any of my jags! I keep cutting them smaller and smaller but have yet to make them usable for barrel cleaning. I guess they're just too beefy.
