My review is for the Guidelines4quilting Handle/Multi-Width Ruler ConnectorGuidelines4quilting Handle/Multi-Width Ruler ConnectorThis is pretty cool -- you can maximize use from various quilting rules/templates YOU ALREADY HAVE to make them longer / different size/shape. REally cool idea/innovation -- one of those "ugh, why didn't I think of that?!" kind of items!Bottom line: I would potentially purchase again.

Works well as a handle for acrylic rulers with the interesting bonus of being able to connect two together.

Figuring out just how this roller extender was supposed to work was a little confusing at first because there were no real instructions on our in the package. However, once I figured out how the different straight edge/rulers snapped in, it was very easy to work with. Since fabric comes in 44"-45" wide or longer pieces, getting a ruler that long to get a nice, crisp, straight line cut can be a bit of a challenge but this little gadget makes it easy to use two shorter ones together to cover the entire width of the fabric. Not something I'll use ALL the time but a handy little thing to have when you really need it.

This ruler handle works well on solid acrylic rulers and gave me a more firm grip on the fabric I was cutting. Unfortunately it does not work on open style rulers that have cut-outs like the one I pictured in this review. That's a shame since two of my main "go-to" rulers are open like that. If you have a lot of open rulers, this may not be the right gadget for you. If you have solid rulers, this worked great. The hand hold is a bit small, so beware if you have large hands. I like being able to join multiple rulers to make 90 degree cuts. The suction cups held well for me even after repeated cuts. Overall it's a good tool if you have the right types of rulers.

Like that this is smaller than the ones I have seen in retail stores. The suction works great. Still getting used to the best way for me to use.Would recommend.

So I DO like that this can be used to hold 2 rulers together for a longer edge, it does stick on and come off pretty easily, but the space for your fingers is a bit uncomfortable and awkward, because it is flexible and adjusts- my fingers are long and thin and trying to get good "grip" with the strap is weird, as you only put a couple of fingers it, but the strap is higher than my fingers... I much prefer the shower bar suction cup grabber I have for my larger rulers but maybe this will be good for the smaller ones? but on the first test run it is just "ok"

This is one of those really simple "wow, why didn't I think of that" sewing notions that really improves your day to day life. It's essentially a connector piece that sticks onto two flat acrylic rulers to connect them into a new shape - you can create an extra long ruler by connecting two end on end, or you can make L shapes if that turns out to be helpful for a project as well.I was skeptical of how well these suction cups would hold and was worried the two rulers might come apart easily, but that isn't the case at all: I was able to pick up two heavy rulers by just holding one of them, and waving them around in the air didn't cause them to come apart until I really tried. You might occasionally need to re-make the connection during a sewing session, but there will be no problem picking up your combination and moving it around on your cutting table. (I didn't even need to moisten them - an included card says that adding some moisture will make the connection even stronger.)The little handle included is relatively thin, but it's resilient, and I like the thinness because it means you can collapse it down flat for storage but pop it up for use.The only caveat I have to add is that I have a couple rulers with hollow center cutouts - concentric squares to give you more cutting options; the distance of the connection is fixed on this widget, so you'll need to make sure you have enough acrylic on both sides of the connection to stick this down. It won't be an issue at all with solid rulers, and you can usually work around an issue like this if it crops up by just offsetting the suction cups by an inch onto one side of the connection.Five stars, and I'm actually ordering a second right now to give as a holiday gift to another quilter in the family I like it so much.

This handle is a little smaller than I was expecting but that doesn't diminish from its usefulness. It sticks firmly to my quilting rulers and makes an awesome handle for keeping them still. I also like that I can connect two rulers together if I need to. The suction cups work well and release easily with the tab. It is well made and I like that it is clear because it doesn't get in the way as much as the solid color ones seem to.
