Did not grip well. I think they knew something was wrong with the gripping part as they added those sticky dots to the back - like papercrafters use. Had to buy stable tape to use it.

The ruler works just as intended. Checking out Angela's You Tube videos on using this and her other rulers is highly advisable, as is practice before using it on a quilt.
