We got this for our pet rat. And a day later she was absolutely covered in mites. We handle her daily and have never had mites anywhere before. After deep inspection and cutting open of the bedding, we found mites beneath the outer layers of the bedding, literally everywhere. Time to spend money on treatments and deep cleaning to prevent infestation in our home! Buyer beware!!!

Easy to clean good quality, pretty good value for the money. When we had the Guinea pig, he seemed to love it. It was a good fit, decent appearance and the color was just as advertised.

My pair of male fancy rats enjoy hiding away in this little cave. The inner pillow was shredded pretty quickly, so I tossed it out, but they still happily use the rest. I've purchased a three or so little beds/caves like this over the last year, and this one may be the least abused of them all. I don't know why that is, but they haven't ripped a hole through the bottom, and that usually seems to be a primary objective.

I had no idea how soft and easy to clean this item would be… and my chinchilla is obsessed with it, it’s his little safe space and he just loves it!! There’s a little pad in the bottom of it that is removable and easy to clean. It’s even a bit bigger than I thought it would be.

The product itself is not bad, but it's definitely too small for our adult male guinea pigs. Rats and other smaller animals would probably be happy with it.

I recommend this product for price and quality however NOT for guinea pigs. We bought 4 of them as we have 4 guinea pigs and I kept trying to cut, sew and modify them to make them work and they simply are TOO small for even a 6 month old guinea pig, maybe a skinny pig but not a furry pig. Great product though for the right animal.
