Our little guy loves this. It took him a bit to get used to but once he did, he loves it. To help him acclimate, we put treats in it. It’s design is great that it’s easily adjustable.

Every time the hamster tried to go in it he flipped out and fell on his head. Not pleased with it so we returned it.

I’ve had the banana for about a week now. My hammy ignored it the first two days, but is now in it constantly! He can get in and out by himself and it’s his preferred place to sleep. He does poop a lot in it, so I have to take it out and clean it. Haven’t really had any issues with him chewing or tearing the banana. There’s one tiny part of the seam on the inside that I can tell he’s chewed on, but nothing big. Even if it just lasts a month, I would order it again. The metal connectors are weird, but for how cheap it is it doesn’t bother me.

I thought this would be a fun item to add to my hamster cage. The hamster seemed to like it. The problem is hamsters are chewers. In less than a week the banana was in shreds, and I had to remove it. I will stick to more durable items for my hamster .

its very cheaply made. Its not really good for hamster, my dwarf can't get into it on his own, and a Syrian would be too big. Its cute, and the idea is great, but its juts not practical, I think if the opening was fully open and not a flap, it might work better. We will use it because I can put him in there when we are holding him, but its not practical for ham to use on its own
