Weighing only one - third of a zinc - alloy string lock of the same size, it has 3 to 4 times the hardness of its zinc - alloy counterpart. Scientific Design, Considerate Protection
The string - threading holes feature an open - type design, enabling you to clearly observe the string - threading process and complete the operation with ease. This design effectively prevents the strings from protruding from the string lock and potentially stabbing your fingers, safeguarding your playing safety. Additionally, we've incorporated an anti - string - cutting design. The string - tightening screw presses the round copper sheet, which then presses the string. This ingeniously avoids the sharp edge of the string - tightening screw from cutting the string, significantly extending the string's lifespan and reducing the frequency and cost of string replacement.

This arrived well packaged. There are a lot of different types of headless guitar bridges and string retainers. This string retainer will work with any headless guitar that fastens the ball ends of the strings at the bridge. This string retainer will nicely replace those that leave sharp string ends sticking out of the head end of the neck. I have both Censtar and Eart headless guitars that have these protruding string ends. If you've ever stuck yourself with a string end, you'll want to consider this string retainer. There is a grub screw that pinches the string between a small metallic disc and the bottom of the screw. And the end of the string is left short then tucked into a small slot beyond the grub screw. I have a similar system on a Hils headless guitar. It works well When installing this retainer, you'll need to remove both the grub screws and the small metallic plates to place the wood screws that fasten to the guitar. Then the metallic plate goes on top of the flat screw head, followed by reinserting the grub screw. There are no instructions, but that's what worked for me. Make sure you work in a well lit space and have something under you to catch the small pieces because they will fall out of your hands a couple of times. Lots of very small parts to deal with. So, overall, this is a nice headless guitar string retainer that needs a good set of instructions for installation. I would also suggest that a couple of extra grub screws and pressure plates should be supplied with the package to lessen the time spent looking for dropped very small parts. And at around thirty dollars, it is a reasonable value for money.

These are bridge locks for a six string guitar. They're quite sturdily constructed, and the screws are machined to fit in the grooves with perfect precision. Looks great and works great. I'm newer to this sort of design, as opposed to the more common "tab" type tightening system, but so far I'm loving it. Made to last as long as the guitar. Cleverly designed, there was clearly a lot of thought put into this by people who really knew what they were doing...

I got a couple different parts from this brand for headless guitar build I'm working on and they've all come in high quality and working well. This one is no exception and is true to the dimensions on the listing

Excellent quality and beautiful design. This string lock for a headless 6 string guitar is beautifully made and will work great on a headless guitar build with a headless bridge I recently got. Can't wait to build a guitar using this locking head end strung retainer. The only odd thing is that it did not include a hex key to lock the strings. This won't be an issue for me since I have plenty of hex keys - but if you don't- be sure to get one.
