Harvested from the rapidly growing Moso Bamboo, bamboo charcoal is a naturally occurring porous structure with millions of microscopic holes pulling and absorbing odour and moisture from the air. Bamboo charcoal is natural, sustainable, reusable and recyclable. Due to non-toxic and eco-friendly attributes, bamboo charcoal is literally nature’s way of eliminating life’s stinky stuff! Much like a wooden door or window frame, a wooden instrument is prone to swelling and warping during extended periods of exposure to high humidity. A gloss finish might protect the instrument from impact or liquids, but it is NOT a vapor barrier. It is critical to stay in tune with the needs of your instruments and protect them from the damaging and irreversible effects of humidity and moisture. Ever Bamboo products have been used and tested to effectively aid in the process of keeping your solid wood instrument at the proper acceptable humidity range of 40-60%. Offering both protection from humidity as well as aiding in de-humidifying an exposed instrument, Ever Bamboo's product are simple and effective and will keep you from strumming the blues. We think It’s instrumental for your instrument! INSTRUCTIONS: When storing guitar in case, place 2 pouches by the body of guitar , and one pouch by the neck. Pouches need to be in open sections of the case and/or instrument to be effective (NOT in accessory case). Keep in mind, an instrument that has seen extreme levels of humidity for an extended period of time will require several weeks of consistent restore its proper humidity level. We recommend using a hygrometer to monitor relative humidity.

I live near the ocean and Hawaii is already a place with high humidity ... both are not conducive to the long term health of my guitars. I store nine of my nineteen guitars in display cases mounted to walls and I put two of these bags in each case, along with a humidity monitor. I can't say they appreciably reduce the humidity inside the case, but for the price, it's cheap insurance.

I have used for over a year and they have worked well. I do keep as directed putting them in direct sunlight to refresh monthly.

I use for reducing humidity of acoustic guitars. I have tried two-way dehumidifiers before such as boveda and humidipacks but didnt work. This one worked well according to my hygrometers! I'm buying another one for my second guitar.Important to say that I dont think it would work with gig bags as the fabric wouldnt allow the less humid air to stay inside the bag. Make sure you have a good case.

Hard to tell if these actually make a difference with your guitar, they don’t feel very good in terms of material and quality. Would recommend this product.

Dropped humidity in my cases from 62% to 45%, and they recharge in the sun! Easy to use, effective, and natural. Unlike silica gel packs, these Ever Bamboo Dehumidifier Bags use natural bamboo charcoal, making them eco-friendly and safe for your precious instruments. Plus, no more worrying about replacing them - just pop them in the sun now and then to recharge! It works!Highly Recommend: If you're looking for a natural, effective, and easy-to-use way to control humidity in your guitar cases, these bamboo bags are a winner! My guitars are happier and healthier than ever, and that's music to my ears!

I tried these in my Martin case, but it had very little effect, and I have a hygrometer in the case. I bought Wisedry packets and they work very well, up to a week. I did place the Everbamboo packs in the sun and added with the Wisedry packets, and there was a couple of percentage drop, so I use together.

I live in central Florida, and this time of year (winter) the average humidity is about 60 to 65% (inside the house). I was hoping this product would reduce the guitar case interior humidity to about 50%.Unfortunately, this product doesn't make any difference in the case's internal humidity. For example, after leaving the three bags of moisture absorbing material inside the case, as the instructions indicated, I left the case unopened for nearly three weeks. After opening, the internal reading was 60%. The ambient humidity inside the room was 59%. In other words, the guitar case humidity was one degree higher than the room.I placed the bags inside the case exactly as the instructions indicated. I'm using a digital hydrometer for accuracy. I also know that the Martin case has sufficient "seal" to prevent an on-going air exchange with the external air. I really need some suggestions - anyone have any idea why these things aren't working???

Seem to maintain humidity around 60 % inside a guitar case where the room is at 65%

Saw several negative reviews but after 4 days I’ve seen a marked difference on my hydrometer so a big thumbs up for me.👍🏼

I used 3 of these in an acoustic guitar case. I didn't notice any difference in hygrometer readings even after the bags were left in the guitar case for 2 months. I guess the good news is that the humidity didn't get any worse, but it didn't get any better either.

Don’t waste your time. Living in the southwest this barely lowers ambient humidity. I have sensors accurate to 1% in each case that log up to 1 year and I’ve noticed that the pack is good for about 2 weeks then it has to be dried in the sun. Once these are even less effective I’ll toss them and either buy bulk desiccant or some packs that I can dehydrate in the oven that do a better job of drying the guitars. Do yourself a favor and keep track and avoid this product.

Avoid these they do not work!!I purchased three packs of these to try out on three guitars. I used a temperature humidity data logger inside the guitar cases to measure any effect.Result........over a period of three days the humidity remained exactly the same with or without them at 61% even when the humidty of the room was controlled down to 50% by a dehumidifier in the room. The case was a hiscox case so there was a good closure all around.I had hopes that when using the guitars at a controlled room humidity, the bamboo charcoal packs would maintain this inside the case but clearly not. My next step is to try larger packs of silica gel which is considerably cheaper to buy and indicates when it is spent through a colour change. My considered opinion is that these bamboo charcoal bags are a gimmick that has not been tried and tested and I know through experiment does not do a thing to help with humidity in the case.

Good price and performs as expected. It has been consistently keeping my case at 46% RH during high humidity weather. I haven't tried to dry them out in the sun as the instructions suggested. I think I would try the oven instead though.
