The case has a quality look and feel to it. It reminds me of the much more expensive big name brand cases. The plastic is thick and durable, not brittle. It will stand up to a lot of abuse. A rubber seal in the lid will seal the case against water. A vent on the front can be opened up for air travel and keep air pressure equalized. I appreciate that this case uses a stiff hard foam. It cuts nice and clean. I really don't like the pluck foam or soft foam that does not cut cleanly. A white marker and knife is included to make your outline and cuts.Pay attention to the internal dimensions. It's not a big case. A Sig M17 (full size P320) with red dot sight and 21rd magazine will not fit. It's still a tight fit without the red dot, allowing only about a 1/4" space on the top and bottom, not enough for a solid and nice cut-out. If there is no optics and only a 17rd magazine inserted, the full size P320 will fit ok with 2 extra cutouts for spare mags. A Sig P320 X-Carry has the same problem (shorter barrel but same height). A full size 1911 fits ok but that's the limit, top to bottom and side to side. A 3" Smith J-frame or Ruger Sp101 fits nicely, a 4" barrel will fit but the side to side dimension is too close for a good cut-out.

I was very surprised at the overall quality of this case. I have many cases of this nature to store everything from firearms, ammo, radios and batteries (as power boxes). This case has one of the better build qualities.First, the case itself is constructed of some very durable materials. Unsure of the actual waterproof feature, as I am not about to forcibly put it and the contents into water, but it seals very tight. The color of the materials is also very nice for standard outdoor use.The interior cushioning is very sturdy and holds its form to offer maximum protection. And the value-added chalk and razor blades that came with the box is outstanding. Too many times, I have had to improvise with other cases. The ease in both the ability to make this a customized case for the contents, as well as the ease at which it carries make this a very good case.Not too much else to say, other than at the suggested price point, you get an excellent functioning case for the money, along with the extra cutting tools and chalk. Highly recommended. Will likely be getting more myself. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
