This is a docking station and note taking transcription device. It looks retro and dated but that's what they are going for.As far a docking station this hub is kind of basic. I am using it with a M1 Mac mini. There are no compatibility issues. I however I should have ordered the regular H1 as it has more usb ports and that would have been nice. The speaker works well for voices but sounds horrible for anything elseThe head phone is also horrible. Not comfortable and the sound quailty is horrible. The microphone is okay. I use this for dictation and find that the microphone I was using previously with a little more accurate. A microphone on the headphone is actually better than the microphone on the docking station. It seems to be more accurate. It could be a positioning thing or a distancing think its a little frustrating.Where this product shines is the transcription of meetings. You can record phone calls or meetings that you're having via your computer or even your phone and you can pair your phone to the docking station. Once you record these meetings you can then upload down to have them transcribed. It is not perfect, but it's actually pretty good but basic level doesn't give you a lot of the features that the paid service does such as identifying speakers. If you're in a lot of meetings and take a lot of phone calls where you need to take notes I think this software and the Docking station would really help save time and create better notes than most people could do on their own.

La intención es buena solo que tiene muchas pérdidas de conexión. Fallas con el sonido y los micrófonos.

I must say I did not expect to like this device as much as I do. For me I literally plugged it in and it worked simply and easily form the start. Since using it for over a month now, I have only had one time it lost connection and no longer showed connected. I unplugged it and re-plugged in the sub-c chord and it reconnected right away. This is one of the more accurate transcriptions, around the 90+%, but there are definitely spots here and there that it gets things wrong. The summaries are pretty decent, which they had a bit more detail and structured breakdown but this is on par with anything else out there and better than many. Despite these issues it captures and summarizes sufficiently well enough to greatly improve my follow up so is well worth it.I did not subscribe to the premium service so cannot speak to the accuracy of the speaker identification but often times when I review the transcript it does seem to combine speakers often.I cannot use if for work given I am not comfortable, and against most company policies, sharing work information on any cloud system that is not blessed by the company itself. This limits it's usefulness in this regard. The sounds quality of the speaker is actually very good and the noise canceling seems to be pretty effective. I have it set at about 1/5 the way up and people on call did not hear my dogs barking but could hear me. The earpiece while useful is not the most comfortable but it is not bad at all. The sound is decent for this but not great. As far as I can tell you cannot use any other BT earpiece with this, so if you don't want to use the speaker you have to use their ear piece.Overall, it is very easy to use and get setup. Things just worked and saving the page makes it very convenient. The build quality is not top level premium but pretty solid for plastic. At $169, at time of review, it will not be a great deal for those that cannot use this for work, or have privacy concerns since you have to upload the content to get processed. But for those that have no concerns or it is cleared for work, then this is a very useful tool that provides a great speaker call option with excellent performance.

I got the HiDock H1 because I sit at so many meetings and to be able to try and take notes somehow and still be somewhat attentive is just not possible sometimes. I've now had it for a few weeks and honestly, it has made my life so much easier. You just turn it on, let it work its magic, and then you have a full transcription and even an outline without needing to write down every little thing yourself.Setup was relatively easy, but it took me a while to become familiar with all the features. Once you have got the app set up and everything synced, it works really nicely. I enjoy how it identifies an absolutely absurd number of languages and can hear voices really clearly even in fairly noisy rooms. The VoiceMark gadget is also really helpful. You can tap during recording and it is very easy to identify key bits when you are listening back over your notes afterwards. The AI transcription is fine. It is not always flawless if someone is muddling their words or if there is a great deal of ambient noise, but it gets it right most of the time. A lot, much better than anything I have ever tried before. And the smart summaries it gives you are literally life savers when you've got back-to-back meetings and can't take the time to read through an entire transcript. The dock itself is an amazing bonus too. It is not just a recorder, it's basically an entire docking station with 2 x HDMI 4K@60Hz ports, 1 DC-In port (20V/7.5A) , a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, 3 USB-C 3.2 ports and 2 USB-A ports. Supporting Max 100W PD Charging and Max 10Gbps data transfer. 2 SD/ MicroSD 4.0 card slots. Support dual 4K@60Hz HDMI display. , the whole deal is amazing. So it effectively tidied up a lot of space on my desk that was a lovely surprise. If you are someone who has a lot of calls, lectures, meetings, or simply need to have an easy way of taking and organizing information, this is definitely worth looking into. It is not very inexpensive but honestly when you factor in the life time transcription and no extra fees, it seems like a bargain.I would have to say that just be prepared to take some time to learn how to do everything at first. Once you get used to it, however, it is pretty much plug and play. Highly Recommended!
