Unlike my old suspenders, the elastic portion of the suspenders are in the front and back as opposed to the back only, which I prefer. The suspenders adjust very easily and support well.

These suspenders have ample elastic to hold pants up and the metal hooks stay fastened. What I failed to consider is all my jeans have 1 belt loop in the back center with 2 loops further to the side and 2 loops towards the front. This X shaped suspender attaches to the 2 loops further to the side and does not pull up on the back center. I realize that for these type pants, a Y shaped suspender works better for me. When/if I wear pants without the 1 back center loop but with 2 loops just off center, these will be my go-to suspenders.

The suspenders are a better alternative to a belt for my husband, the suspenders are well made and the metal hooks are sturdy. The suspenders did not slip or dig into the skin but the only issue I see is that after a time the hooks could tear the belt loops from the pants because the belt loops are the only thing holding the pants up and wear and tear is expected.

These are so much fun ! My husband has a long torso and no behind so belts are kind of a miss for him so we've gone old school and have gotten him suspenders - these are awesome! They have great hooks- look nice and do a good job. They are comfortable and they fit well ( you can extend them to fit perfectly). They are so much better than a belt and work so much better while being more stylish. He has really grown to love the look of them, he felt it important to know that it is a thicker material than others he has gotten, he likes it and it doesn't impact comfort.
