Your cart is empty.Cleaning Rod for our C or D Hall Crystal Piccolo. The Hall Crystal Flutes cleaning rod is made from 100% cotton flannel over a foam core. It is designed to fit the bore of each flute. Only one pass is needed to remove accumulated moisture and restore the flute's clear tone. Our cleaning rods come in three sizes. This rod is sized to match any of our piccolos.

Works good after couple tries except for very end of flute as end is flat but cleaner is curved. Very tight fit first try but fine thereafter.

I eagerly awaited its arrival as my D piccolo was wet day after day. I was so disappointed to see that it is still very much wet. The first photo is just after playing. The second is after cleaning. I inserted the rod, rotated it 360 degrees, and pulled it out. As you can see, the inside of my piccolo is still quite wet.I love the instrument! This cleaning rod, sadly, is not up to the task.

I feel that a piccolo cleaner should fit inside the piccolo so that it can clean it. This cleaner is not only inconvenient to carry around, the cleaner does not fit even a little bit inside the body OR the head joint of my C piccolo.
