I purchased this for my granddaughter that lives 17 hours away. It was so easy to record. It is also a wonderful reminder that even though we are far apart, we are both looking at the same moon.

I am currently going through 6 months of chemo and cannot be around my grandkids for fear of infection. This book is priceless. It is a way for me to connect with them. They hear my voice and I can make it personal. It is my grandson's favorite book and its parent approved. :-)

This book was just PERFECTLY CHARMING to send to my long distance granddaughter especially since we love nature, animals and the night sky! The rhyming story was easy to read and to personalize along the way. THIS WAS PRICEY, however I read reviews of other recordable books that did not seem as user-friendly so I went with Hallmark. I found this one to be SUPER EASY to use and my voice sounded pretty good (and actually like me!) when I played it back. It was a particularly significant year for our family so this was totally worth the price for a cherished keepsake. So pleased with my purchase!

My first dealings with this type book was 12 years ago. I bought a couple for my grandson to have while I wintered in FL.He loved that my voice was reading the books to him. Fast forward 4 years and grandchild #2 was born and shared the book. Then 4 years later # 3 grand was born; same books, same batteries!These books hold up so well, and are recordable many times.A great way to stay in contact while I winter in another state!

The book is a beautiful, sweet story, not difficult to record. My only criticisms would be that the sound is not very loud and the quality is not very sharp. This is the first recordable book I have gotten, so not sure how it compares to other brands. I was happy with the purchase, it delighted my daughter-in-law.

My mom passed away 2 years ago. And I would give anything to have her reading this book to my granddaughter. So I bought several and gave them to my 2 year old granddaughter. It is very easy to useShee loves to hear me reading to her. I made them silly and fun. If anything ever happens to me she will always have them. Even if it needs a new battery and you change the battery, you do not loose the recording. And there is a way to lock it so the child doesn't accidentally erase the recording. I highly recommend this for any child!!! It was a wonderful gift for her!! Great value and not just for the money, but to have a love ones voice forever!

I had to move in with my dad a year ago and am so far away from my grandson! I got this book and recorded myself reading it without problems. I read all the other reviews first. It needs LIGHT to record and to read. He LOVES IT! He is 4 and talks to it (me) saying " Thank you, Gamma, for my book!". My daughter says that he reads it many times every day! It's only a few pages but I recorded what was written plus descriptions of the drawings and how much I love him and miss him. This book is priceless!!

This book was purchased for my grand daughter's first birthday. I was a bit nervous about purchasing this as I usually hate the sound of my own voice on recordings. I'm sure most of us do. However, the sound quality of the recording is excellent!!The directions were extremely easy and I would highly recommend this product!
