The 5054PS is a nice way to finish Halo's H5ICAT, H5RICAT, and H25ICAT fixtures when installed in a shower. It's wet-listed, of course, and the trim ring is non-conductive and non-corrosive. The white trim and diffuser would match just about any decor.--Josh Dettweiler

Ordered two of these and one looked like it was used or was previously opened and returned. Need to make sure the inside metal trim housing will accept your light socket.

I purchased the Halo 5-inch shower light trim kit to replace the exact same model (circa 2011) that broke after swatting a fly with a towel and knocking the glass lens which shattered in the bathtub.Easy to install. Trim ring is a nice bright white and fits right against ceiling. The only negative is that the glass lens doesn’t feel as secure as it could be, hanging on 3 “pins” that fit into slots of the lens as you turn it. That being said, I won’t be swatting at a fly in the shower ceiling again!

Sceptical.! Suppose to be for showers and wet areas but glass dome fits so loose and sloppy there is no way steam isn't going to find its way into the housing. I'll let u know in a year.

I had to get this to fit into a low profile can, but much rather prefer the flat glass lenss of the 5051 instead of the dome of the 5054. Product is good construction, no complaints there, just don't love the aesthetic.

This is a must according to code for a damp location like above a tub or shower or outdoors. What's really neat about it is that it projects below the ceiling so it radiates light better than a flush glass lens. I thought it would look strange with the other baffled ceiling lights in the bathroom but it looks just fine. I've got a 60 watt equivalent spiral flourescent in the fixture (Sylvania seems to have the best color) and the light output is more than ample. It's a pricey little devil but worth every penny.

Purchased this for our newly constructed shower. It looks wonderful, upscale, and gives the perfect amount of light. Very, very pleased. Great value for the price.
