very cheap. Won't hold a music book without tipping over. Clamp won't hold. Spend a little more and get one that works

Was very easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to hold my casebook for law school. No.. I didn't buy it for my casebooks, just thought it would be another use for it. It is the perfect height for playing my flute when it's pushed all the way down, so if you stand to play your music, then it should easily telescope upward enough for you.

Easy to put together and seems to be sturdy enough. I use it for playing guitar sitting down and it is just the right height at its lowest point. I am holding a book and it does just fine.

Great stand for the price. This was purchased just for home use so it fills that need perfectly. If you need to transport it, there's no case so I'd choose another.

I purchased same product for my kid before and we liked it. So we did not look for another brand when we need another one. However this time inside of the stand is a bit rusty, which makes difficult to assemble for my 7 year old son. He only uses when he plays at orchestra practice so we will keep it, but cinsistancy of the product will help.

I bought this music stand to take with me to Europe. I had a great portable stand that I can use at local performances but it is too heavy to take with me to Germany along with all the things I need to take with me. This stand is light weight and extends tall enough for me to play my violin standing. It folds up small enough to carry well. It is sturdy enough for my purposes. For the price it is a good music stand.
