I care a lot about efficiency, quality and cleanliness on stage and I have tried a bunch of uke stands. The K&M attachment is my favorite uke holder and in fact the only one that makes sense for my use.GOOD:- small- easy to install- very versatile- sturdy but also bendable for uneven uke necks (electric uke)BAD:- the rubber isn't suitable for all finishes and I'm always afraid it might soften in heat and leave marksSOLUTION: I put felt over the areas where the ukulele touches the grip- the screw seems a bit long if you use it on a mic stand and it sticks out more than necessary once attached. I assume, one could cut it down for a cleaner look.Thoughts, recommendations, experience:Most uke stands are extremely short which may be fine if you sit at your gig. But even then I don't understand why anyone would want to hang their nice uke at a height where it's highly likeable to accidentally step into it, push it over... at knee-height or foot level. You have to be very careful on stage when your ukes are down there. Dropping a cable end, spilling a drink, a curious kid running on stage, a band member moving around... it doesn't take much to hit a ukulele and break it.Currently there's not a single uke-stand on the market that hangs your uke high enough, so you don't have to bend down to pick it up. The uke holder by K&M solves all those problems for me. When I play at a small venue, I hang the uke directly on the mic stand in front of me. On other occasions, when I use two ukes, I use two K&M uke holders and attach them to a K&M mic stand (without the arm) which creates a very heavy duty, solid stand. Both ukes are nicely presented (not at the bottom of the floor) and easy to grab.I highly recommend this product.

Just works. No problems whatever. (A similar item made by another manufacturer turned out to be a whopping 6" long. That one kept the instrument headstock away from the ledge of the music stand, but it left the instrument dangling in space. This one keeps the instrument tight to the stand. It has to be positioned far enough below the music stand for the headstock to fit, but once in the right position everything stays secure.)

This fits my ukulele perfectly, I used a rubber band as a kind of lock across the tongs. The quality is so good. I recommend this.

This is an excellent Uke holder. Also works with my Mando. My only suggestion is that you probably want to put some foam cushion or other protector on the Mic stand or music stand used with this holder to protect the instruments. My instruments are pretty expensive and don't want the backs all scratched up.

Update: I have to downgrade my review of this hanger. It does not hold the Ukulele out far enough from my K&M music stand. My uke is constantly banging into the music stand's pole or legs. (Depending upon how extended the music stand is for standing or sitting.) With the slightest movement of the stand, the uke will swing and bang into the stand. My friend's clamp-on holder has a longer bracket that keeps his Uke a much better distance from his music stand. It's well made, and is easy to put on and take off. The arm just doesn't hold the uke far enough away from the stand. So I had to reduce the rating to just a 3-star "OK".Nice way to hang my Uke on my music stand during breaks. Works very well. Easy to put on & take off when I put my stand into its case. It slides right into the carry bag as well.

I attached this to a music stand to hold my soprano uke. Very sturdy, good quality materials, and it doesn't scratch the uke OR the music stand. I recommend this model over less expensive types.

Easy to use, adaptable for my stand. I was looking for a safe place to put my ukulele during practices and performances.
