Hardware for mobile homes usually requires a specialty piece, but this mixing valve and shower handle did fit my fiberglass shower.The wall cavity wasn't wide enough to add a support 2x4 like in traditional showers, but the mixing valve was able to be mounted right to the shower wall with the bolts through the front plate, only requiring a small block of wood to keep it straight.We now have a shower faucet that doesn't leak, and I really like that you can turn the handle off and on while keeping it at the same temperature.

We remodeled our small shower and we are so happy with the quality of this product. Compared to the first shower head we got and returned. This is all metal. We did not realize the diverter valve did not come with shower head so make sure you order that item separately.

My plumber told me there are better products than this because this still had the plastic-something. I don't know whether he was correct or not. I can say that it is very heavy, substantial and nice looking. I just don't know enough about plumbing to say anything other than what i was told by my plumber.

This is a solidly built valve with a great heavy duty handle and a very nice finish. Operating it has a smooth solid feel and you can shut it off without the water temp being adjusted. So the next shower is already set to the right temp. Highly recommended.

I have ordered twice from HammerHead. The first shower set up I purchased was because I was sick of the cheap look of the expensive Moen and Delta product. And supporting the overseas crowd was getting old. I ran across the USA made, all metal product and decided to give it a try. And I must say it is robust and not cheap feeling or looking. When I first started using this product in my home It even straightened out an issue I had with my 2 year old Delta shower system that would never maintain a constant temperature. But in testing the Hammerhead system it keeps a constant temp of 105 for the entire test time of 30 minutes.And the attention to maintain the Matt black finish during both shipping and installition goes above and beyond.Great product, great delivery time and good price. So......what else could you be looking for in a company. OH! right, not made in China.
