I use these to make my glasses which I only use in the house indestructible. I tend sit on my glasses so I unscrewed the hinges and just use a half inch piece of this instead of the screw and can now twist the glasses every which way and they don't break. It holds really good too since it's got a small inside diameter. I tried vinyl tubing before but they would constantly fall off even when tightening them using zip ties. These hold fine without the ties.
