I had not heard about Travel Bird, but they seem to be a solid company that has built an award-winning tent hammock system called the Skynest hammock tent system. It seems as if this hammock underquilt is designed to go with a tent and a bug net making it waterproof and bug-proof at night. So in essence, this is not your traditional beach hammock, and it has more of a sleeping bag feel and look. I am using it indoors for my kids but I think for winter camping I am probably going to upgrade to the whole tent system.

I absolutely love camping! This bed is very comfortable and compact. It's easy to fix the bed and it feels very comfortable to lie on.

I have a few camping trips planned for the end of this year and love sleeping in a hammock. When choosing this style of camping in cold temperatures, an underquilt is mandatory. Without one, any moving air passing under your hammock will draw heat straight out of you and chill you to the bone very quickly. You MUST have insulation under your hammock to trap the air your body is warming up. A sleeping bag inside the hammock won't do it. The compressed fibers you're laying on will provide no insulation.I'm very much looking forward to trying out this underquilt to see how warm it is, but also how durable it is. My son and I camp just about every month and I'd love for this to last a few years if possible.First test should reveal any flaws. If any are found, I'll return here with an update.

This under quilt goes great with my TravelBird hammock and also fits our Wise Owl Outfitters hammock as well. Materials feel and look good, it’s nothing fancy but it doesn’t appear cheap and it feels reasonably durable. I used this when it was around 60 degrees out and it made a noticeable difference in warmth, so I’d say it’s working as intended. It’s a little on the large side, being almost as big as my sleeping bag, which is really my only complaint about it. It seems very comparable to the OneTigris under quilt we also have and overall I think it’s a good value and would recommend it, especially for hammock sleepers as it’s also effective at keeping the wind out as well.

So glad I got this. It is minimal weight and packs up nicely in the compression bag. Can't wait to use it. Will update.

Well made, warm, and conformed to the bottom of my night cat hammock perfectly. Easy to hang, and easy to get it to settle on the bottom of the hammock. Definitely recommend.

This hammock underquilt is well made and easy to hang. There are loops and drawstrings at each end to get the underquilt adjusted properly. Ive been using an old sleeping bag as an underquilt, but this is much nicer. It packs down small and has its own compression sack.
