My syrian hamsters absolutely loved this and they even fit. Its strong and big enough to hold a hamster on the 2nd or 3rd tower even!

It fits perfectly on our dwarf hamsters tiny tales cages! It has the screw on thing-a-majig so it connects securely to Pichu's cage. It also opens up to clean it out so u dnt have to fully remove it every single time u clean the cage. 5 stars! Get it!

I used this to hook onto my hamsters cage for him to have a another place to hide. He likes hiding in different places. It opens up to clean which is very convenient. I really like this product, glad I ordered it.

It shouldn’t be the only sand bath, they each have large boxes too, but for extra enrichment they LOVE these. I put 1 or two in each cage. One of my hamsters uses it as her toilet, which is great & makes cleaning her pee easy. And she uses the other one to empty her pouches into. I like to give them lots of hide spaces (they all have large niteangel enclosures) but they all enjoy going into these hides. I’ve gotten them ceramic hides but they don’t seem to like as much as these for some reason. Maybe it’s the thin neck of the opening, I’m not sure. Someone warned me Syrians can get stuck in that tube since it’s small, but the tube/neck is very short so I hope it’ll be alright, and the back easily opens if it is necessary to help them out. The sand does get into the bottom and fall out so it’s not necessarily “cleaner”. I consider it simply extra enrichment they enjoy. (& they really like it when I move them into one another’s cage so they can smell other hamsters scents & they can easily be moved around from different cages)
