This seeder/spreader works well for fertilizers, seed, salt, and most other dry or grain products. The handle is on top close to the center of gravity, lending itself to comfortable carrying and use. It shouldn't make your wrist sore as quickly as other spreaders with the handle well behind the hopper.It looks like it can handle up to 1/4" round material, though I doubt it would feed very well, and is intended for typical grass and small seed, and fertilizer pellets.It has four controls that can be set for consistent spreading. One controls speed of the rotating head, another controls the maximum opening possible, the trigger controls the actual opening into the head, and the safety is pulled back to operate it, and if allowed to come forward during operation locks the trigger/opening into a specific setting, allowing more comfortable long term use as you don't have to hold the trigger. There is also a wing on the side of the head which can be opened and closed, further controlling the angle of spread.It's well designed, and easy to use with as much or little control as you'd like. You can set it up so someone with no skill can use it and not have to worry about how much they're putting down - they just have to understand how much overlap to use. You could control it actively and increase or decrease the amount of material spread or its distance as you spread to cover detailed or crowded areas with ease.The batteries are internal and not intended to be replaced, though any competent electrical technician could do so without too much difficulty.It comes with a plug in charger, and a manual.

I will be using this soon, as spring is near. The spreader we have now keeps you headed back to the shed to refill often.This spreader is much larger than I expected and will be useful in holding lawn food, insect granules, fertilizer and or lime that needs spread on our yard. This item appears to be well made, rust proof and easy to set the amount recommended for spreading whatever you might need for your lawn.At first look, a little pricey, however, if it works as good as it looks and advertises, all will be well. I will revisit this review after weather permits the spreading we need to do.

I love this spreader! It is perfect for spreading material in smaller spots where you need more precision than you can get with a broadcast spreader. It holds enough material to let you work for a while, but not so much that it is too heavy to hold. The settings are a little confusing and the directions are not the best for adjusting volume and speed, but I got it where I wanted it after a little trial and error.I recently used it to spot seed some areas in my yard and it worked great. I ran through several loads before it needed charging, and that was on a partial charge! And the shape of the container makes it easy to pour unused material back in its original container.I'm really looking forward to using this spreader this spring. It will be a valued addition to my gardening toolset.

I do seed spreading and fire ant granule spreading on my lawn about every 6 months. I have a moderately sized lawn, but I don't want to keep one of those bigger drop spreaders. I used to use a manual handheld spreader. It worked fine. But then I got this thing. it changed the whole game for me. I can actually put way more granules in this bad boy. And the spreading is way easier. I can have two hands holding it with makes my arms get less fatigued. and I am also not cranking anything, it does all the work for me. I can walk faster and get the job done in a fraction of the time. The battery lasted the whole yard. There seemed to be plenty left when I was done. It really makes doing the yard way simpler. It has the same amount of adjustments as my other spreader too. Highly recommend getting one of these. I will never use a manual one again.

This is a sturdy, handheld electric spreader made of thick plastic. I’ve never used this type of machine before, so I can’t compare it to others, but the size and weight make it very easy to operate. It’s rechargeable, so no need for batteries. Perfect for home farms, fertilizing, or applying treatments to the lawn. A very useful little tool!

This is a handy little power spreader that I picked up to spot seed behind our chicken tractor moves. It charges up quickly and holds the perfect amount of Happy Hen seed to over-seed the area they prepped for us. Initially, I felt this spreader was overall well-made, and I was pleased that it charged quickly via USB-C, and the seed dispersion rate was easily adjustable. However, in an unfortunate accident, it fell off its storage shelf and a corner of it was busted, so the plastic is a bit rigid and breaks easily instead of bouncing, so it's not quite as sturdy as I had thought. Luckily, it is high enough on the unit that I should still be able to use it despite the damage.

Working just as except.My garden weed was really bad.Seeding part to part really a pain. This Spreader really do the work fast and quick working awesome.love it.
