Im a man and I dont sew. This is really handy in case of emergencies. Even though I never sew anything, I figured it out how to set it up and start sewing without a manual. You can put fabric up to 1/2 inch and be ok (example, folded jeans). I have to try different thickness thread.It runs on 4AA batteries OR connected to USB adapter (not included) that is rated for 5V 2.5A. And you have to flip the switch. Very light and small. Perfect for travel as well.
