These cotton wicks are well made. They absorbs the oil well and diya runs longer.

These are described as “long twisted wicks.” I was very curious to know how long they actually were. But nowhere in the description did I see an actual proclaimed length. Since “long“ is merely a subjective word, I hoped for the best. A long wick IMHO would have been at least 6 to 8 inches. These are 6 cm or 2 1/2 inches at best in the useful part. If you are making a 5 cm/2 inch candle these might work for you. They are made of a soft, silky, pleasant feeling material. I can believe that it is cotton, as described. I did not attempt to burn or use any of these wicks. These are not useful in my case due to the short length. I have never made candles with plain cotton wicks, so I don’t know how this would work.I received these as a promotional item through the Amazon Vine program.
