Thought was made out of iron to mimic a larger actual firewood holder. It's made of wood. Looks and feels cheap. I returned it. Way too costly for what it was.

This holy wood stand is not only simple in design, but also very good in texture. It is very harmonious in the living room. I used it to display a pair of antique statues last month, and the effect was great. The stand is stable and does not take up space. It can perfectly set off the furnishings. It is definitely a must-have for home decoration. I highly recommend it!

It came disassembled in 3 pieces and the wood is very flimsy. Definitely not worth $17, maybe $3-$5 at the most.**UPDATE- Okay so I put it together, and it was flimsy separated but put together it really grew on me. I absolutely love it with my palo santos. I would pay $10-$17 at a psychic shop for it and I am raising it from 1 star to 5. The packaging I received made it look like a cheap disappointment because it had 3 flimsy pieces and a screwdriver.I order a lot from Amazon and had no idea what this was for, it did not make a first impression on me the way it arrived. **Although** the packaging itself was well done- nicely packaged and secured (it wasn't going anywhere, trust me) with a sellers note. The seller put their love and care into it and I can appreciate that. Now that I had time to let it grow on me, I would definitely buy it again. I will upload pictures later.

I should have listened to the other reviews about it breaking when putting it together. I was trying to be so careful because of that and it snapped in half!!!

This product is made from extremely cheap wood and cannot handle the screws that are supplied with it. Broke during assembly. Spend your money somewhere else.
