Sometimes, when you get old, you need a little extra help. I have one step up to my doorway and I had nothing to hold onto as I went up that one step - even falling at one point. You can place it at the height you want and it secures itself very well to the wall. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have it now.

The handrail itself is pretty good quality good shape for my garage entry door to assist my mother getting up the steps. The padded fuffy cover is a nice touch, but the velcro closure was not thought out very well. It should have been on the inside of the long edge.

My husband installed the rail on the back deck making it easy for me to go down to the sidewalk and back up the deck to enter the house. It’s very sturdy

My wife has balance issues and once fell while stepping on to our porch. This gives her something solid to grab and should prevent future falls.

Easy to install and is very sturdy. The warm railing cover is a bonus in our garage in the winter.

Using it for a grab bar for the stairs to the garage. Seems to be sturdy enough, and strong enough, although I would not hang on it. Would recommend for stair grab bar absolutely.
