I'll be the first to admit that I'm a geek. I've been modifying my personal PCs since before it was cool, and opted for a Mortal Kombat theme this time. With a bunch of red LEDs, "blood" red liquid in the liquid cooling tubes and a black case, I was all-set. Sadly, the side panel was solid aluminum and didn't allow the juicy interior to bleed through (no pun intended).This tool was exactly what I needed to put my plan into action: I printed out a large Mortal Kombat logo (you know, the dragon in a circle of flames) and, using that as a stencil, I used the rotary tool to carve it into the aluminum panel. The drill bit was great for getting me started, but then I was able to to put the grinding/sanding bits to use tracing the design and whittling away at the metal slowly.Overall, the process took about 5 hours, with necessitated about 2 charges total. Now I was running at full speed, so your mileage may differ, but I found that to be pretty good battery life. Overall, it worked exactly as I wanted it to, and all the extra sanding heads were crucial for making sure I wouldn't be slicing my fingers on the new cut and exposed metal. With tempered glass under the cut aluminum, I know have a beautiful PC that really looks the way I dreamt it would!

I just received this toll today and put it to use right away. I had a model car body soaking in Castrol super clean for 2 days to remove the paint after a botched clear coat. The clear coat and paint came off easily after soaking, except in the corners where the paint and clear coat were thicker. I chucked a small rotatory brush in the unit and went to work. After about 15 minutes of work, not only were the clear coat and the acrylic paint removed, I was able to remove the lacquer primer as well. I now had a completely stripped and clean body to work with. If you are looking for a tool to the same thing, I can recommend this easily. I'm very happy with it, and it probably saved me 5 or 6 hours of scraping, sanding and feathering the surface to get a flaw free surface for painting.

This is an awesome little rotary tool with plenty of power for anything around the house. It has adjustable speeds and plenty of torque. At this price I wouldn't hesitate to order this again!

This is a 4v 3 speed rechargeable rotary tool. It comes with 32 pieces. It's good for small simple detail work but it doesn't have much torque and the battery dies quickly

I have a craftsman rotary tool that has to have a battery hooked up for it to work. Not anymore, this performs just as good and does not bog down like my craftsman one does. I use it to clean up art parts that I cut on my cnc plasma table.I like it that I can take it without it having to be connected to a heavy battery. It does the job good and charging lasts for days.You get a bunch of different tips to use and they are decent quality. It will grind down the edges and get parts for me clean so they look good for my customers.For the price and what it does and being very portable it is hard to beat. I have used it to cut rocker switch holes on several atv's also and it goes through plastic with ease.Great little tool to have.5 stars!!
