I ordered this for my 4 door Tacoma, it is far from functional, but I didn’t buy it for functionality. I bought it to annoy other drivers on the street. It gets freakishly low, to the point where my entire truck starts to do the wave. Sounds good quality wise as well. Overall very nice, it’s just freaking giant. I no longer have a back seat.As far as power goes, I have a 130A alternator and a capacitor (still cannot power the sub above half volume). But if you have lower than a 200A alternator then I would pick something else. My car has a 130A alternator and a 3.0 farad capacitor and my lights still dim badly. Might I add I have not gone above half volume because my car literally cannot power it past that. Even at half volume it’s wild, and I had a 15” kicker comp gold before this.As for amps, you can buy a NVX 5700w amp for a pretty good deal. It powers the sub great and sounds good.

A lot of people complained about the shipping which should not affect the star rating. My package (cardboard box) was damaged, but because of all the additional foam and cardboard inside, the sub and box was completely protected. The sound quality is absolutely incredible, coming from two 12’s is a huge difference. The bass has incredible deep bass. My amp is a 1200.1D skar amp which is plenty for me. It does take up quite a lot of space in my SUV but so far, well worth the money. I love the black carpet on the box and the Kevlar plating on the sub shows me that this is going to be able to handle a lot more power. If you’re still waiting… you’re dead wrong lol.

The specs you find online are off. The box listed the specs, and this box is tuned to 27hz I believe. The frequency response goes down to 23hz if I remember correctly.. it plays low bass effortlessly. I hooked it up in the house on about 300watts and it shakes the house. The enclosure is ok, but it needs a brace front to back as the back wall is unsupported 3/4in . Not strong enough to handle this guy at full power. If you don't know, this sub is a SKAR 18" ZVX with a full coverage dust cap. Worth the $322 you can find online for sure. Can't go wrong with this one! If you like Deep Bass and not just spl, you will enjoy this speaker. In a better box it will surely pound with good SQ. I'm happy with it.

Just WOW‼️ No power ran to yet But WOW my 1st 18in subwoofer Absolutely BEAST IN THICKNESS ! I will be ordering 2nd one SOON 💪🏾😁Update September 2024 Finally running 2 18s Best decision ever ! 1 was Nice Now it's just DEADLY My poor Escalade 😁
