These are nice, big, and deep bowls. I can hold a lot of food in them and it has no problems in the oven. We make a crustless pizza where we put all of the pizza ingredients into the bowl, minus the crust, and bake it at 375 degrees F for 20-30 minutes. We’ve had no issues. They also wash up nicely in the dishwasher and they are not too heavy.

We liked everything about these bowls. Loved the variety of design and color. They are great for pasta and salads which is why I ordered them. They do get hot on the bottom of the bowl when you use the microwave other than that, they are perfect.

Bottom line: A durable but pricy set of pasta bowls.Pros:• Perfect for pasta• Heavy and durable• Neutral aestheticCons:• Expensive• No engravings or stamps indicating material or place of manufacture• Only two in the setThe pasta bowls come as a set of two.The bowls appear to be made of a fairly thick ceramic and should be pretty durable. No sample defects or irregularities were noted. As pasta bowls, they’re the size of dinner plates, but have curves like shallow bowls. Cereal or soups aren’t a good fit, but pasta or a rice dish would be just fine.Of note, there aren’t any engravings or labels regarding the bowl material nor where they’re made. Only by referencing the product page does it indicate they’re safe for the dishwasher and microwave. They’re made in China. Nevertheless, it’s a shortcoming because some users may wonder if they can place the plates in either or both the dishwasher or microwave but may hesitate because there isn’t an explicit indication they can be.Another issue is that there are only two in the set. Dish and plate sets are commonly sold in sets of four, to accommodate for a hypothetical family. So, while they’re cheaper, a possibly more realistic cost would be double, to form a set for an entire family. At USD $25.99, the set is expensive, especially for a set of two. Related to the comment above, the price to acquire an entire set would be USD $51.98, which is far too expensive for a (complete) set of pretty ordinary pasta bowls.Put another way, an entire set of four with similar construction and aesthetics are available at a much lower price.Nevertheless, despite the reservations about the price, the bowls are recommended as a durable choice.
