these plates are beautiful and very well made. They are not heavy as ceramic plates. The surface is very smooth and feels good. The size and height are perfect. highly recommend!

They don’t appear very big but are a perfect portion size. They also fit nicely in my dishwasher. I bought 6 to try them and liked them, so I bought 6 more.

Our son is off on his own and eats large amounts of pasta and rice dishes. These are like deep plates that can be used as plates for pizza or as bowls for mountains of food. Perfect. They are a simple pattern that goes with everything.

They do seem to be microwave proof . However two more plates chipped and I'm careful. Maybe I got a defective set but I have had enough. I hate chipped plates. Glass recycling. Done with them.Two plates out of four were defective. One ugly black rim on the bottom that I couldn't get off and one with writing inside that I couldn't wash off.Otherwise, decent plates for the cost especially if you split your days between home and office.I would suggest putting info on the other side that the plates are microwave and freezer proof.I tried warming sandwich in my microwave seems ok .First time try.:9Otherwise, again,nice everyday no fuss no nonsense plates and that suits me just fine.:8)
