Excited to get my new air rifle except the box was beat to death and the scope was badly bent. A.I. was of no help I asked for a call back that never happened. The bent scope was definitely not in the description.

WARNING These air rifles are not toys, this airtact pellet gun (Made in Turkey) is not something to buy for little Johny's Birthday present. These air rifles could KILL someone. anyone who has one or is thinking of buying one, should never under estimate the risk of holding it. they look so real a cop may shoot you just for holding it. you think about it good, if the person is too young to pay for it themself, they are too young to use one without adult supervision.They work very well exterminating any kind of problem you may have. This rifle is powerful enought to penetrate a 2 liter soda bottle filled with water through both sides. For those who go by page number, when the old book was shot at 38 feet away, it penetrated the thick cover and stoped at page 305. it penetrated a .010 thick steel coffee can filled with water hit on the side, making a bigger hole than the pellet and going out the other side. The plactic scope does not work, moves around too easy, but the (Fiber Optic) site on the rifle itself (GLOWS) in the daylight, and is very reliable right out of the box. PLUS You never need to buy any CO2, I use Lead pellets only, thats all you need, it is totaly (self powering) by a very strong spring and piston compression system, see the pictures of what it can do. I had shell of a time getting pellets on center the front site's I pushed all the way to the left and the rear sights all the way to the right the scope was worthless threw it away I had to spend another scope for it that turned out to be a blessing the green Lazer+10×30scope we're awesome 2 shot's and it was cutting center overall the craftsman ship was horrible the muzzle brake is just for looks the plasticshroud wass warped the sight's are mounted to the plastic my opinion looze the shroud put a red dot ore a Lazer on it and you'll have a descent rifle I give it a 6 out of 10

I like this rifle is lightweight and easy to handle also quite powerful and accurate. But I could not get a scope to stay still even with super glue. The iron sights work. Kicks so hard it Bruises shoulder. As does the mod 95 .25 caliber.

So this rifle arrived on time and undamaged which is good, however it wasn't double boxed like it usually is. So everyone gets to see at the post office and as you carrying it to the car Etc that you received an air rifle. I'm surprised they didn't get stolen in the mail. As far as the rifle goes, my first impression wasn't that great because it looks kind of cheap out of the box because there is a lot of plastic on this rifle. Also when I took it out of the box it was extremely light which made me think even more that this product was going to be kind of junk even though Hatsan makes good air rifles oh, so I was kind of discouraged. However after I started shooting it my opinion somewhat changed. The extremely light part has its pros and cons, this rifle is the lightest of all my break barrels. A light rifle is good for the offhand position because you can hold it longer without wobbling, it's also good like when you go hunting and stuff because you have to carry it. The only part that the light rifle is not good is when you fire it. It takes more weight to move a heavy Stone than the light Stone, and since this rifle is light, it moves a lot from the shock of the discharge. This will affect your accuracy. And believe me this gun packs a wallop. And you will feel it in your shoulder after a while because the rubber cushion on the butt stock he's okay but they should have made it better to compensate for the rifles kick. The barrel is a little different than the other Hatsan rifles, it's a little longer and it's very easy to cock. The scope is good I already know I have several of these scopes. I don't know if I'll put it on this rifle or not. The sites are Truglo fiber optics. And in my opinion are good enough. They are plastic so they're not very sturdy but at least they hold position I'm talking about the rear sight. Sometimes when you have a gun that kicks a lot the settings will move on the rear sight which means you have to check it after a couple shots to make sure it's still on the same number Etc this one seems to stay in place even though it's got a lot of kick which is good. Bottom line is I started off a little on the negative side but after looking at the pros and cons this is a good rifle for a decent price. It's good enough for Target as well as varmint control. I like it.
