Works well! Pretty accurate at 20 yards with open sights. I just put the scope I received with on is not very clear not like defective just not very good quality, the rings were not very good either the scope popped off after the first 3 shots . for those three shots the holes from pellets were touching at 15 yards at 20 yards this shoots through 1" pine boards

Bought one from PyramidAir. Scope rail was too far off center to use. Year later, here I am, bought one through Amazon. Scope rail was off on this one too but I was able to use it. You need to buy a high quality scope because this thing will eat up cheap scopes and you are better off to use a one-piece scope rail mount like hawk brand. And make sure you use a stop pin. These scopes move everywhere.JSB pellets seem to work best.This thing drops off on the trajectory chart very quickly.I consider it a 40-yard gun.Cited in dead on at 22 yards it is 1-in low at 30 and 4 in low at 40.It has its place in the market. It's certainly will not small game with authority.Butfor efficiency andbetter quality and more options and wider range of pellets and hunting applications I believe I would go with a 25 caliber next time.simply because you can get basically almost the same ballistics in a 25with much flatter trajectory and many more choices.ButFor the price pointAnd having the baddest rifle in the woods as far as air rifle break barrels this thing does the job. And it shoots pretty accurate once you run about 150 pellets through it.

This is one of my favorite .22 cal gas-piston break barrels available. The innovative 10 round magazine prevents double feeding, every single time, and the feel of the rifle is just right. This is definitely a mans gun. Its heavy, hard to cock and has a hard kick...I love it! Its large and in charge. This gun has accuracy right out of the box. I shot 2 inch groups at 20 yards with the included fiber optic sights. Its a hard hitting gun, smacking the metal targets with authority! This is a hunting gun, not an all day plinker as its very hard to cock,im 6 feet tall and weigh over 200 lbs and it takes two hands to fully cock.This gun is quiet. The big 44gr pellet hitting the target is louder than the gun going off. They really did a good job of quieting this gun down. If your on the fence, pull the trigger and get it. After all, it is the largest breakbarrel in production.

As my title states, the scope and 11mm rings will go straight in the garbage. Other than that, this big bore springer is pretty awesome for what it is.The accuracy isn’t the best, but it’s just about good enough for squirrels and above. Don’t expect to be shooting quarter size groups at 25 yards.Regardless of torque, the 11mm rings will slide after each shot until the rear ring slides off the rear dove tails. I ended up buying some weaver rings but I ran into the problem of the scope losing focus at 9x beyond 25 yards. It’s really only usable at 3X.I do recommend doing a 200 pellet break in, cleaning, check the torque on everything, then sight in the rifle with a handful of pellets.A zero recoil mount is a good idea if you want to expand your optic options. I ended up going with a Bushnell with similar specs to the Hatsan optima scope. It’s worlds better for a sub $100 scope.That being said, I recommend looking for the version of this rifle sold without the scope. You’ll save yourself money and time.
