I'm a bow hunter who prefers the larger platform on the hawk helium XL. My first stand was a lone wolf alpha II and I love it but is expensive when buying multiple stands. This stand is nearly identical but costs $100 less! Very light, super comfortable seat cushion, adjustable seat and large platform. The hawk only attaches with one strap where the lone wolf has two but not a big deal to add a ratchet strap. Also the lower platform on the lone wolf is adjustable but if you choose a straight tree it's a non-issue. The Hawk XL platform is a little wider too. I love this so much I just ordered another!

Very light, very comfortable. All the welds look good, the powdercoat was nice. It does make noise as it settles into the tree, but it's fixed easily enough by switching the cam buckle strap that comes with it with a ratchet strap and using a second ratchet strap at the bottom of the stand to cinch it in.

Initial impression is that this is a well made, light hang-on treestand that is easily packed in and out of hunting areas. I have used it only four times, but found it easy to get in and out of the tree and it was very sturdy with no excessive noises. So far a great stand.

Best stand I own , And believe me I have many. Lone wolfs - Summit, you name it.This stand is light, easy to hang, has nice Large platform and is priced for the everydaydeer hunter. If you combine it with there Aluminum 3 pack tree steps and a few screw insto get up to 20' plus its the ultimate portable deer stand for sure.!

Best tree stand ever ... Super light weight ...nice thick seat... adjustable seat angle...super easy to hang....if your looking for a high end stand at a reasonable price this is it!! I like this better then lone wolf stands that are 3times the price.. great customer service also I thought one of the cables was a little shorter then the other so I called them and they sent me out new ones that day no questions asked

This stand is very well made. It is quiet, lightweight, and easy to set up. The seat is thick and comfortable, though it will slide around if not tightly secured. The seat angle adjustment is also a nice feature. (Erik)
