The Laser boresighter will be an excellent addition to your toolbox when getting your barrel and optics aligned properly prior. Adjust and zero-in your optic or iron sights without ever firing a round. It makes the process much faster, easier, and ensures you don’t waste precious ammunition during these times.
It designed for firearms chambered in .223 Rem/5.56mm NATO. This device is placed in the chamber, and projects a visible beam on to a wall or other flat surface.

dont get the red laser. i lined up on a tree 50 yards out on a full sun day at 4 in the afternoon and had no trouble seeing the green dot. i do have a rather powerful scope.

Arrived quickly with 3 sets of batteries. Had to reinsert the batteries several times until it came on. After that, no problem! Recommend as a reasonably priced laser that helps you quickly zero optics to the bore.

Boresighted my 5.56mm rifle at 25meters. Easy to see at 25 meters, at 3 power as well as 9 power, in daylight, on an overcast day. Its the little things that count. The presentation in the handy snap open case, nestled in foam with easy access. Included were 3 sets of batteries, each contained in shrink tubing with open ends so that you can handle the 3 batteries as one, convenient. The batteries were also positioned in the foam, inside the box, again allowing easy access and handling. Overall delightfully surprised at this excellent product.

Easy to use, not yet sure about accuracy, battery performance reduces the value for the money. The first battery (single battery with 3 button cells connected), lasted less than 10 minutes. Was using this to initially set up an RDS, then validate BUIS alignment until I can get to the range. To do all of that, it takes a few minutes and I don't want to remove the bore sight laser after a minute of use and then remove the batteries, which is the only option since there is no on/off switch. Great idea, good design, but the weak batteries are my initial concerns. Luckily, I have 30 days to use this and, depending on the subsequent battery performance, I may just return for a full refund.

This is a very simple and straightforward product, when the batteries are in the laser is on, it fits in a chamber just like a normal cartridge and when I put it into my rifle it was dead on to where I already had my sights zeroed. The laser is nice and bright in low light conditions (which is when I would recommend using this product) and is a nice solid metal construction for the body. When done just pull the batteries out to turn off the whole unit and put it all back in the handy little carrying case. Nice and convenient with a no frills construction.
