Works but very hard to turn, other ones that I've purchased can't turn at all so this is definitely an upgrade. Would give it 5 stars if it can turn easily without having to turn it back and forth 100 times. There are robots that can do this now at the factory it's made at!

Needed a 4-Inch PVC Ball valve for a commercial Kiddie Pool. Picked this up on Amazon. Hayward makes great products and this was no exception. I am deducting 1 star however which is really a fault of all large ball valves. Under pressure it can be extremely difficult to open.

Works great, my valvle for my pon busted and I used this one I am completely happy with my purchase. People are complaining about how hard it is to open and close....."remeber it is a 4inch ball Valve I'm glad it is hard to open and close.

Extremely solid product. The valve was VERY hard to turn initially, but loosens up after some use (i.e. turn it back & forth 100-200 times and it will eventually start to work more easily.)
