Does not fit over the end of the lens. Wouldn't even go past the lens cap because the diameter of the opening is too small

It is an adequate replacement for the Nikon original. It is somewhat more difficult to attach and lock on, but once it does it works fine. Material is a little thinner than the original but should be adequate. Definitely worth the money. We’ll see how long it lasts

This looks the same as the original.Except it's not.It's not as strong, feels like it's going to break. It doesn't sit well on the camera, so comes loose all the time.And somehow it doesn't screw in the right way, so if I don't pay attention I'll see parts of it in the picture.I wish I could send it back, but it's too late now.

This is a Chinese copy of a Nikon hood and it doesn’t snap in to place like a Nikon hood it will just fall off if you are not consistently holding it in place.
