Appears as pictured. No assembly required. Very sturdy looking. Folds really well but isn’t the lightest item and doesn’t fold up as flat or skinny as I was looking for. Good price point. Another thing I don’t like is the large gaps - my toddler keeps trying to put his foot in the spaces but I think he is on the younger side and is just exploring this new item. So you need to stay very close and watch them for a few months after purchasing. Shipped quickly.

I love how compact the folded version of this is! It's so thin and can be stored away easily. One complaint though -- Literally just out of the plastic, the rubber feet of the stepstool looked like it had been used (dirty and dented). Kind of odd... but the rest of it looks clean and new, so not sure why the feet were like this?

Everyone thinks they want the pretty wooden step ladder for their kids. I'm here to say, don't fall for that marketing trap! This is the step ladder you want. After buying the wooden steps and realizing the only thing about it I liked was that it matched the aesthetic of my house, I realized I went wrong. It was heavy and clunky, it didn't collapse easily nor fit nicely when stowed away. So I said to myself, "no more!" I needed another one. In search of a new step ladder, I came upon this one. Yes, looks-wise, it's got that medical commercial grade vibe. But everything else. 5/5 stars. This step ladder came pre-assembled. It is lightweight. It collapses really easily and fits between our toilet and the bathroom sink! It can easily be stowed away in seconds. We no longer have to shimmy around a bulky step ladder to use the bathroom once my child is done using it. And it's quite sturdy too, it hasn't wobbled with my child on it. I'm now a firm believer in function over looks.

Got this Kids 2 Steps Step Stool, for when my grand kids come over. It's well made and can hold up to 250 pounds. Opens easily and folds compactly to store. Right out of the box, all you need to do is latch the safety bar in place. Great for the little ones to help or watch you prepare meals. I recommend this product. For $49.99 it is well worth it.

This arrived pretty wobbly, the stool didn’t sit level at all. I had to get help from my husband to force the rubber feet on further (you have to twist and push very hard to get them to seat properly). Once we got that figured out, it sat level, but it was NOT an easy fix.It claims to support up to 250 lbs, but the first step rocks and creeks when I stand on it and Im half that weight. It feels sturdier when standing on the top platform. My 4 y/o prefers this over our standard stool when helping in the kitchen, and it’s a great height for them at the counter. It’s too tall for my 6 y/o; standing on the lower step keeps them too far back, and the top step puts their center of mass too high above the rails to be safe. The safety rail latch is not easily operated with one hand. It doesn’t lock closed when you fold it up but you can hear a click when it’s opened and seated properly. Im not sure why there are cut outs along the top rail, they tend to just hold crumbs and aren't large enough to set things on or hold a drink. Its decently heavy and I have to carry it with 2 hands which is still lighter than the wooden kitchen helpers.Overall, it’s a budget friendly version of a kitchen helper that works for smaller kids, and helps me reach the tall cabinets in the house but it needs some tweaks to feel sturdier and more user friendly. It was almost unusable until I fixed the feet, it really could have been a piece of junk if I didnt work so hard to fix it.

Little pricey but worth it for the peace of mind. Took one fall off the step stool in the kitchen while the little one was trying to “help” for me to go and find this. Just get ahead of it and get something similar as standing on anything else for a toddler is just too risky. Folds up surprisingly small but not quite enough to slide between the fridge and wall.
